This was our first time using a petsitting service, normally a family member has taken care of our pets when we're out of town over the last decade so needless to say we were both hesitant and apprehensive. From the meet and greet she was very kind and professional, she took notes, asked about the toys and you could tell she genuinely took interest in our 2 cats. I believe she could sense our nervousness and truly put us at ease. During the trip she checked in with us as promised, provided pics of the kitties and even video of them playing with her. She told us if they were eating, water levels, state of the litter boxes you name it - she took care of everything. We looked forward to each update lol. When it was time to fly back tropical storm/hurricane Debby caused chaos for thousands of flight and naturally ours was canceled as well. Maritza was very understanding and flexible and had us covered for the additional 3 days with the snap of a finger. I can't tell you how much stress was lifted just knowing I could rely on her. Even through the storm she provided us update on the cats and even the current state of the weather in our area. I'm truly, truly grateful for her and her efforts. Everything she said she would do - she did. I am 100% re-booking with Maritza any chance I get in the future. 10/10 highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, in my childhood home I had a boxer named Izzy who we loved from a puppy to her final days. I have two rescue pups of my own their names are Kona age 5 and Manila age 3. I adopted them as little puppies and they’re now each a respective 50 lbs. I work from home so I am free to keep your fur babies company during the week and on weekends. My dogs already have me on a schedule so fitting into your fur babies life should be a breeze. Since I will be taking care of your pets in their own environment I like to do a meet and greet with their parents and them first to ensure we are all a good fit. I also take notes on their learned commands and particulars to help ease any possible anxiety they may have.

About: I am 33 years old and absolutely love dogs. I am very flexible and do not mind last minute changes in plans. I have had a dog in my house almost my whole life, so I am very comfortable around dogs and cats! My experience is mostly with mutts, specifically lab mixes that have ranged from 30-45 lbs. I love to walk outside and swim, so I would be more than happy to do that with your pet! All dogs are special and unique and I cannot wait to meet yours! I do not smoke and I am always on time and I am very flexible. I try to respond to requests within one day at least and always keep my availability up to date. I work remotely from home and have availability for dog walking, and drop in visits. When I am not working, I try to spend as much time at the clients house as possible. I ensure that I follow all the pet’s eating and bathroom schedule as it is told/written to me by the client. I also make sure I am with the pet as much as possible to make sure they feel cared for and comfortable.
