“I couldn’t be happier with the care my cats received! From the beginning, Jon was professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. I felt peace of mind with knowing they were in good hands while I was away. Jon took the time to understand the routines of my cats. I have a high maintenance 18 year old cat so I appreciated the attention to detail. I received photos and updates with every visit and Jon went above and beyond with providing updates about the temps on my apartment as my AC broke while I was away. I appreciated the care that Jon provided that which made my time away much more enjoyable!”

“Yasmin took excellent care of our two pups while we were in town. She took time to get to know them and let them warm up and they certainly did! Highly recommend her and would use her again when we are in town. 🤍🤍”

“Wonderful experience with Morgan who helped with my dear old golden while we were at Disney. He's happy and healthy, and I'm so thankful we reached out to Morgan. Highly recommend!”

“Marylynn was great with our 2 cats! She was absolutely spectacular making sure they were fed and litter boxes were cleaned and water was full! Our very shy cat who doesn’t socialize with anyone other than us even came out to be around her! She truly was perfect and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Jennifer was incredibly reliable and attentive, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She didn’t just take care of the basics. She truly spent time with my cats, played with them, interacted with them, and made sure they felt safe and accompanied. It was very clear to me that she cares about animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I came back to calm, well-cared-for pets and a home that felt exactly as I had left it. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone who wants someone thoughtful and dependable caring for their pets.”

“Angel was the best at taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She was super responsible, kind, and left me really great updates about her. Highly recommend her for pet sitting!”

“I can not rave about Lynn enough. Ziva has become so attached to him. She gets an attitude when I change up her visit times with my work schedule bc she expects Lynn to be there. He has truly been my saving grace. Ziva is going to miss him while he is unavailable for personal time, but I can't wait for him to be available again. Thank you soo much”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve had pets with high-maintenance health needs, including conditions like megaesophagus and diabetes, so I’m comfortable following specific care routines and giving animals the extra attention they need. My own pets are fed with their health, nutrition, and weight in mind, using high-quality food. Growing up, I would watch pets for people in my neighborhood, and I’ve also worked with exotic animals at an animal sanctuary. I’ve taken in animals that needed homes and helped find them loving families—two cats just this year alone! I currently have a dog and three cats, all of whom were raised around other animals. My dog, Athena, even just got back from a trip to Italy in August! 😂 When she came to me, she was about to be returned to a shelter because she was considered “untrainable” and too high-energy. Now she knows all her basic commands and even knows how to turn off light switches. 😂 If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family and care for them as much as you do, then I’m your girl! 🐾 I’m an active person, and I love making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and adventure! I take my own dog to the dog park every day and go on at least two walks a day for potty breaks and exercise. One of our favorite spots is Minneola Dog Park, which has everything from a beautiful forest trail for exploring, to an open field for running and plenty of space to play and swim in the lake! 🐾🌳 I’m currently attending school online, which means my schedule is very flexible and allows me to provide full-time care and plenty of attention to your pet throughout the day. Your pup won’t be left sitting around waiting for someone to come home—they’ll have plenty of company, exercise, and attention! ❤️ You decide how you want your dog cared for, and I’ll happily follow their routine. Crate-trained? No problem. Sleeps in the room with you? They can sleep in the room with me. Have a specific diet, medication, or other medical needs? I’ll make sure everything is followed exactly as you’ve requested. I also have a very friendly dog of my own who absolutely loves being around other dogs, so if your pup enjoys some company, she’ll be happy to have a new friend! 🐾
About: I grew up with dogs as family pets (German short-haired pointer and Cocker Spaniel). For the past 10 years on the home front, me and my fiance have 3 cats of our own. For 7 years, I had a savannah monitor as a pet. Even though he had to be euthanized due to a neck injury last year, ever vet i went to said he was the healthiest lizard they'd seen in a while (no risk of metabolic bone disease, fatty liver diseases, etc.). Work experience wise, I've been in the zoo field for near 15 years. Most of that has been education, but I have personally cared (in some to many parts) of the following animals; lizards, fish, cats, dogs, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, invertebrates, antelope, hawks, eagles, vultures, parrots. My avian experience has been at a raptor rehabilitation center, so I'm used to medicating animals. I have a full-time job where my usual normal days are Sunday-Thursday, with a Friday-Saturday weekend. That being said, the fastest I work is till 7 currently and the earliest im out is 4 (depending on the day). Whether it be after work, or on my weekend, I should be available to sit. My 3 cats are indoor only (with patio access). I am able to trim their claws, furminate them, medicate at times (oral syringe or pill depending), and give them plenty of pets and scratches while im trying to rest. All are trained to sit on command, some know "up" (like a meerkat), and I'm currently working on inside (call in from patio).
“Madi was amazing - lots of updates and I can tell she truly cares about animals! We absolutely hope to have her back next time we’re in need of someone to drop in on our 2 dogs!”

About: Hi. Something short about me is that I used to have an american pit when I grew up. I trained her with her responding both to verbal commands and hand gestures. I also have trained and taken care of cats while i was in college. I currently help take care of a mastiff thats approximately 150 lbs so i dont shy from big breeds either. Im looking to get some extra cash on the side to surprise the girlfriend. I can check on the pets throughout the day, play, jog, and chill whenever needed. Ive worked with ones scared and others that cant stop jumping. I dont plan to home or host a pet at the moment, but, I do have a large room that can be used to care for them. I would have to take them for walks as I do not have a fenced in yard
“We booked Marina for drop‑in visits while we were on vacation, and she was absolutely amazing. She was always punctual, professional, and made sure our pets were comfortable and well cared for every single visit. We really appreciated the photos and updates she sent, they gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pets were happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. Thank you, Marina, for being so reliable and caring. Highly recommend!”

“Melissa did an excellent job watching and caring for our 2 Beautiful Kitties ?. Our Kitties were in great health when we returned. Melissa did a good job keeping us informed about what was happening. She also brought our mail and paper everyday. We definitely would use Melissa again and will recommend her to our friends !l”

“Sara was a fantastic sitter for my cats! She followed instructions and was very quick and efficient, great at communicating. And very patient with two cats that were a little less than excited to see her ?”

“turns out we knew Louise and husband from bringing our daughters to the same dance school years ago. we see them regularly during sunday mass too. very friendly people at the get-go! we immediately knew that chewy was going to be in good hands and he was indeed! great daily updates!”

“Craig was great! This was our first time booking with him, and he made everything super easy. He was so good with our nervous dog and sent lots of picture updates, which we really appreciated. He also treated our home with respect. We’ll definitely book him again!”

Paula really put our minds at ease while we were away. She is very professional and will follow all your requests, in addition to going above and beyond. I’m a big worrier when it comes to my pet and home, but she really took time to get to know our bird and follow up on the things I was most worried about. She is also very kind and loving with animals, the sort of person animals just gravitate towards naturally because she has Disney princess energy. We will definitely be calling up Paula in the future.

Jennifer was amazing! We loved her - she took great car of our senior cat, followed all instructions for food, water and medications and kept us updated with detailed notes and photos after every visit. Our cat also loved her – she was happy content and well groomed when we got home.

I highly recommend MaryLynn as a pet sitter. I have used her services several times and she has always done a wonderful job! Her professionalism and care of our cats is highly commendable. I have a diabetic cat that needs shots twice a day and MaryLynn has the experience to administer the medication. I will definitely request her in the future!

Jiselle went above and beyond for us! She went out of her way to help us when the key for our door was the wrong one. She saved us from having to cut our trip short to my Dad's funeral, which she had no idea of the reason for our trip. We HIGHLY recommend her and will always use her when she is available.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
