Going to be at the parks all day and worried about leaving your pups alone? Working late and your four-legged friend needs her meds at a certain time? Going away for the weekend and can’t bring your fur-baby with you? Don’t worry - I’m here to help! Until recently, I had two doggos of my own, so I am very comfortable with caring for your four legged family members. Both of my Boxers crossed the rainbow bridge (old age), so I have recent experience caring for senior pups with special needs, including giving medication and working around mobility concerns. I still have three kitties, so I’m very comfortable caring for your feline family members, too.

I’ve recently retired and relocated to Florida, so my time is my own. My schedule is very flexible and I’m happy to work with you in crafting the best schedule for you and your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
Ensuring your pet is happy and comfortable is my main concern, so I can be very accommodating to their preferences and needs. When caring for your dogs or cats in your home, I will ensure that your dog is taken out regularly for walks and that I spend quality time with your kitties during drop in visits.
Pets
A typical day
For dogs that I’m taking care of, I make sure we get a good walk in that fits their needs and energy level. For any drop-in visits with kitties, in addition to feeding and cleaning the litter box, I make sure to spend lots of time giving them pets and playing with them.

- Since every animal is different, I make sure to ask about any special needs or concerns especially for dogs that I’ll be walking outside. I’ll need to know if the dog is reactive to anything – other dogs, children, loud noises, etc. For any drop-in visits, I just need to know your pet’s routine, favorite things, and things to avoid so that they are comfortable while I’m in the house with them.
