About: I’ve been talking care of animals since I was 11. I had big dogs growing up and several cats in my adult life. As I’m unable to have pets in my current living space I’d love to come love and care for yours. Although I work full time I’m single and have no pets of my own so I have plenty of spare time to care and watch your pets. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and love to go on hikes during the weekends. I’m familiar with crate and reward based training. I stay off my phone and make sure to be present and looking out for your animal at all times.

I grew up in a house with lots of pets: 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 iguana, 1 bearded dragon, countless fish, frogs, a few hermit crabs, ants (in a terrarium!), and sometimes mice. About: I’ve been lucky enough to raise and care for three wonderful dogs, from tiny two-month-old pups to wise, gentle seniors — so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and energy level, and I adapt my care to suit what makes them happiest. On walks, I keep a close eye on what they sniff or try to eat, as well as how they interact with other pets we meet along the way — making sure every encounter is safe and friendly. I can also do basic training like “sit,” “paw,” and “roll,” using high-quality freeze-dried liver treats (with your permission, of course!). When we return from our walk, I’m happy to give them a gentle clean-up — wiping their eyes, paws, and rear with premium Earth Rated pet wipes — so they come home fresh and comfortable. I walk my own dog at least twice a day, so spending time with animals is already part of my daily routine. I’m an active person, averaging over 10,000 steps a day, and since I live in downtown Palo Alto, walking is also my main form of getting around. At my client’s home, I will feed the pets, play with them, and keep an eye out for anything unusual, letting the owners know right away if I notice something of concern. I’m also happy to handle basic pet-related clean-up when needed. Having raised three dogs myself, I’ve become skilled at giving relaxing dog massages — and if your pet enjoys gentle human touch, I’d be delighted to treat them to a soothing massage.

About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I am currently only working a part-time job so I am available to care for your pet any day of the week. The afternoon (1-6pm), works best for me! I am a huge animal-lover so know that I am probably having just as much fun as your pup! I am also willing to administer medicine/supplements and care for injured dogs.

About: I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter in my family—the one my aunts and uncles trust to care for their dogs when they’re away. I’ve been helping out since I was 11, so I’ve had plenty of experience with all kinds of pups, from playful puppies to older, wiser dogs. I’ve also looked after dogs with special needs, like those with anxiety around people or other pets. Taking care of them all has been a joy and a chance to connect with each one’s unique personality! I’m currently in college, but since it’s all online, I’m home almost all the time! My classes don’t take up much of my day, so I’m usually free and totally flexible to come by and hang out with your pups whenever you need. I only have Thursdays blocked out, but if you need something that day, feel free to reach out and ask; I might be available in the early morning or anytime after 3 PM! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company, and I can easily crate them if that’s your preference. Feel free to drop off any supplies they might need to feel at home! If I’m dropping by your place, just let me know their usual routine or anything specific you’d like me to do to make them as comfy as possible!

About: When I left the 24hr animal hospital in 2003, I took on pet sitting as a full time career. I’m experienced in administering meds, injections, and sub-q fluids for both cats and dogs. I’ve maintained clients for several generations of their pets. I will book your pet care anywhere from 1 day to 1 year in advance, so that you may plan your travel knowing your pet and home are getting the reliable, responsible, loving care every pet and owner deserve. I will plan my schedule around the individual needs of your pet, whether it’s drop by visits (mainly for cats), walks, dog park play, or overnight stays in your home so that your pet gets what they need. After all, no one knows your pet better than you. I have on occasion taken small senior dogs into my home if the owner prefers, otherwise I’ve found a majority of pets prefer their own environment.
