“Becka is a rescued dog, so afraid of everybody. Not with Robert and Holly, she was smiling when I picked her up. I am so grateful of how nice they were with her. So, happy yo have them to help me with my beloved dog!”

“I’m always super anxious about leaving my dog with people, but Kayla and Matthew made it easy! They would send me updates every so often with photos and how it was going. And they always made sure to let me know how the day went when I went to get him. Highly recommend! My dog always came home super tired from all the playing :))”

“Melissa was really easy to communicate with, checked in with me throughout the day with photos and info on how they were doing. Felt very safe with them in her care.”

“Bonni was good with our little Havanese dog. I liked the yard area including some grass. Bonni was accommodating to our schedule of daytime/evening schedules. We took our dog with us at night. Thanks Bonni!”

“My first time here on Rover and we had a great experience. Thank you so much! I’m so happy I found Leslie & James. The dogs were in great hands and I felt reassured they will be cared for from the get go.”

“Rebecca was fantastic! I'm so lucky to have found her last minute! She obviously cares about the fur (or furless 😉) babies she cares for in a sincere way and has a beautiful energy. She did a fantastic job working with my puppers hairless needs and making me feels comfortable and confident in leaving him. He had never been around other dogs before this point and I feel she accommodated him well when it was to much for him. I'm grateful she was even willing to consider those needs, work with me to meet them, and feel like he was genuinely seen and not just there. She communicated very well and I looked foward to receiving pics during my day. There was unfortunately one big down side, she's not in my town! I do hope if she ever is, she gets into contact with me so I can show her what my colleagues and I were working on and get to know her better 😉!”

“Peter did a great job with Buddy. I know Buddy loved playing at the beach and playing with the other dogs. I appreciated Peter's patience with Buddy and hope we can bring him back. I loved all the photo's Peter sent during Buddy's visits. Great eye! Would definitely recommend Peter.”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. As the founder of a nonprofit rescue, I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to introverted senior cats, and I truly believe every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood. I specialize in shy, quirky, or high-needs pets—those who might take a little extra patience (and maybe a snack bribe or two) to warm up. The photos you see here? They’re a mix of foster pets, my personal pets, and beloved dog-sitting clients. If your pet has ever been described as “a little dramatic,” “selectively friendly,” or “too smart for their own good,” we’ll get along just fine. My approach is gentle, flexible, and grounded in experience—and lots of treats. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and personality, whether they’re a wild child or a cuddle bug. My goal is for your furry family member to feel right at home—even when they’re not. Someone is home most of the day, so your pets will have plenty of companionship. We’re only ever away for a max of four hours at a time—perfect for pets who need extra snuggles or supervision. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new pals. I can easily crate your pup if needed or keep them separated if they prefer their own space. My home is pet-proofed, cozy, and always full of love (and treats).

About: Here’s a polished but genuine way to describe your pet care experience: I’ve been caring for animals for over a decade. I’ve had pets of my own since I was 8 years old, including dogs/cats, small animals, and lizards which taught me the importance of patience, routine, and compassion. I’ve also regularly helped friends and family with their pets, providing everything from daily walks and feedings to overnight care. These experiences have helped me build a strong understanding of different pet personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family—with love, attention, and respect. I’m currently a full time nursing student but I still have time to care for your loving pets. Whether that be in between classes or evenings I am fully devoted to making sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they deserve. I like to maintain their usual routine as closely as possible and any special instructions from their owner. I provide a clean, pet friendly environment where they can lead and I always supervise interactions if other animals are around. There is also a field where I stay, where the dogs can run around freely on.

“Always amazing! Punnarai is caring and attentive. My pup is excited to be dropped off and (sadly for me) tentative to leave the fun environment she creates for him while he’s there. Definitely recommend.”

“Marcus was great! Scub was very well taken care of and was tired when I picked him up (which was the point)!”

About: What is gonna set me aside from the rest is my patients and ability to actually work with all animals no matter size/sex or breed. Well, perfectly because I'm without employment so I am home with my 2 dogs all day anyways. One is senior and the other a puppy Well first my yard has 3 separate yards all fenced off from each other. Plenty of room to run and extra furniture for lazy times.

About: Patience, communication, tenderness and consistency have led me to strong relationships with my furry friends. I am extremely detail oriented and very trustworthy. I have fully trained 3 dogs. One was 70lbs. I currently do not have any pets. Nothing can make me happier than hiking adventures. I love to run down mountain trails, watch birds and prairie dogs. Dogs eyes catch details I would have missed. Dogs are every bit as complex and brilliant and unique as we are. I am very excited to be making new dog friends here. Even though dogs are kids at heart they still keep me wise. Another cool thing about dogs is when you them give your time you are really giving to a community because dogs tend to recycle the love they receive. They have a way of radiating it out to every living creature that they meet. I've learned the ones that love quietly can love the hardest. I am very flexible. I work remotely as a paralegal and graphic designer. I am willing to work with your schedule on a case by case basis. My attention and care is of the highest caliber and I pride myself on be able to fully customize my care for each individual pet whether they have special needs or not.
