“Holly and Robert took excellent care of my boy at doggy day care. They provided updates and have an obvious love and passion for caring for dogs. I appreciated their knowledge of dog behavior and understanding of when it is appropriate to intervene. Ziggy came home absolutely pooped, so I know he had a great day with them. I will absolutely be reaching out to them again for any future pup care needs!”

“Melissa and her sweet family took such great care of my high energy dog. Not only did she send a ton of adorable pictures of the pack exercising & snuggling, but from the moment she greeted my dog, I could tell she was in good hands. About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. As the founder of a nonprofit rescue, I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to introverted senior cats, and I truly believe every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood. I specialize in shy, quirky, or high-needs pets—those who might take a little extra patience (and maybe a snack bribe or two) to warm up. The photos you see here? They’re a mix of foster pets, my personal pets, and beloved dog-sitting clients. If your pet has ever been described as “a little dramatic,” “selectively friendly,” or “too smart for their own good,” we’ll get along just fine. My approach is gentle, flexible, and grounded in experience—and lots of treats. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and personality, whether they’re a wild child or a cuddle bug. My goal is for your furry family member to feel right at home—even when they’re not. Someone is home most of the day, so your pets will have plenty of companionship. We’re only ever away for a max of four hours at a time—perfect for pets who need extra snuggles or supervision. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new pals. I can easily crate your pup if needed or keep them separated if they prefer their own space. My home is pet-proofed, cozy, and always full of love (and treats).

“My first time here on Rover and we had a great experience. Thank you so much! I’m so happy I found Leslie & James. The dogs were in great hands and I felt reassured they will be cared for from the get go.”

“Jamie was very friendly and communicated with me during the stay. She has young kids in the home for playtime with my small dog along with a friendly poodle of her own.”

“Marcelle was great with my dog. She was accommodating to Koda Bear who doesn't like cats. She invited me in to see where he would be staying and he had a great time with her. ❤️”

“Erin is the best! My dog loves her so much already and it was so great knowing he is with such kind people. She even send cute photos ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Tracy was incredibly kind and caring with our fur baby, she was very responsive and sent lots of pictures during her stay. Also super flexible! Our pup loved Tracy!”

“Laura R. (a/k/a Namine) and her boyfriend, Ruben L., have started their own doggy daycare and dog boarding business, detailed on www.apaw2love.com. Laura and Ruben tag-team around their respective work schedules and, like many new business owners, are eager to please. They watched my new puppy on several different occasions. On each visit, I found them to be dependable, kind and attentive. Laura even trimmed my puppy's nails! More importantly, my puppy has always been excited to return and reluctant to leave.”

“Always amazing! Punnarai is caring and attentive. My pup is excited to be dropped off and (sadly for me) tentative to leave the fun environment she creates for him while he’s there. Definitely recommend.”

“Thomas, Matt, and their friendly dog George made Ruckus’s play day a real pleasure.”

“My puppies were happy with him and his girlfriend.”

“Marcus was great! Scub was very well taken care of and was tired when I picked him up (which was the point)!”

About: I love all animals! There aren’t any that I can think of that I wouldn’t care for in a home. I’ve been taking care of animals since a child and currently have 2 dogs and 2 ducks and a fish. I can also care for rodents and reptiles. I have open availability for all jobs. I prefer to either drop in and out or board them at my house as needed due to my own animals. At home, we have a large fenced yard and I walk our dogs daily. I feed according to your specifications and am flexible to your pets needs. At your place, I like to go over your pet's favorite things to do there and see where the toys are kept!

About: Patience, communication, tenderness and consistency have led me to strong relationships with my furry friends. I am extremely detail oriented and very trustworthy. I have fully trained 3 dogs. One was 70lbs. I currently do not have any pets. Nothing can make me happier than hiking adventures. I love to run down mountain trails, watch birds and prairie dogs. Dogs eyes catch details I would have missed. Dogs are every bit as complex and brilliant and unique as we are. I am very excited to be making new dog friends here. Even though dogs are kids at heart they still keep me wise. Another cool thing about dogs is when you them give your time you are really giving to a community because dogs tend to recycle the love they receive. They have a way of radiating it out to every living creature that they meet. I've learned the ones that love quietly can love the hardest. I am very flexible. I work remotely as a paralegal and graphic designer. I am willing to work with your schedule on a case by case basis. My attention and care is of the highest caliber and I pride myself on be able to fully customize my care for each individual pet whether they have special needs or not.
