About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

About: I work remotely, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and individualized care throughout the day. As a longtime dog owner, I know every pup has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take time to make sure they feel safe and at home. I have a large, secure yard with plenty of room for supervised play, exploring, or simply finding a sunny spot to relax. I’m also happy to provide walks, playtime, socialization, basic training reinforcement, and light grooming based on your dog’s needs and routine. I’m active by nature, but I’m just as comfortable slowing things down for dogs who prefer a quieter pace. Whether your pup loves long walks, backyard adventures, couch time, or a combination of all three, I’ll tailor their stay around what makes them happiest. I work remotely, so when I’m not traveling for work, I’m home and available throughout the day to provide consistent, personalized care. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and one-on-one attention. I’m very active and happy to keep up with dogs who enjoy walks and play, but I’m equally content spending time with pups who prefer a slower pace, backyard lounging, or snuggles on the couch. I can easily adapt my routine to match your dog’s normal schedule so their time away from home feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I have a secure yard with a separate fenced dog run, giving pups a safe space for outdoor time, play, and fresh air. Inside, my home is relaxed and pet-friendly and dogs are welcome on the couch and furniture and are treated like part of the household. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own. I understand that not every dog wants or needs to socialize, so I can keep pets comfortably separated when needed or allow supervised introductions and playtime for dogs who enjoy making new friends. I’m happy to provide a comfortable crate or create a separate, personalized space based on your dog’s routine and preferences. I always recommend bringing a favorite bed, blanket, or other familiar item from home to help your pup settle in and feel secure while you’re away. My goal is to follow your dog’s normal routines as closely as possible and provide an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: I'm an active foster with Animal Humane and a lifelong dog owner. Last year I lost my soul dog, and while nothing replaces that bond, I've found real meaning in opening my home to dogs who need extra care and patience — through fostering, and now through caring for yours. I know how to read a dog's comfort level, build trust quickly, and adjust to what each individual dog needs, whether that's an active play schedule or a calm, steady routine. Your dog will be loved and looked after like family. I am currently on Sabbatical, and can't wait to fill my down time with being present with your pup(s)! We can have lots of cuddles and walks! I have a fenced yard and a lovely walkable neighborhood! I have a senior dog, Highway that is very welcoming to other dogs that visit!
