Experienced, Reliable and Caring!
I have had a variety of pets my entire life and for the past 15 years, my family and I have been fostering and rescuing dogs. I have volunteered at shelters, I have done some pet sitting, worked at a vet and we have a zoo of our own (small dogs, a bearded dragon, a mouse, and a fish). So as you can imagine, I have cared for quite a variety of breeds, ages, needs and personalities! I am comfortable with a wide range of behaviors and needs. I am reliable, patient, and of course, very dedicated to the care and well-being of animals. I know it's not always easy trusting someone to care for your pets, so I will strive to provide you with peace of mind by giving the best care possible for your pets. My husband and I telework, so there is always someone home. Because I work during the day, I am more suitable for drop in visits or walks during the evenings and weekends, or boarding in my home any time. I love to go for walks and hikes or just hang out. We have a large, fenced backyard for supervised potty breaks throughout the day. I am very flexible in terms of your comfort level and your dog's needs for exercise (short/long walks, hikes, etc). Depending on personalities, we have dogs here that your dog can interact with and play with, or we can keep everyone separate! Again, we're very flexible and just want to give your dog a safe, caring environment.

Leslie and James were so great to Angel. When I dropped him off I knew my little dog was in good hands. Leslie was very communicative on how he was doing in their home, and she even sent me pictures of him happily getting along with their sweet dogs. I am so grateful for Leslie and James taking him last minute. I know in the future we have a safe option for boarding Angel ☺️ 🐶
Leslie and James were very accomodating. They don't accept a lot of dogs at once, so sneakers got a lot of individual attention. They sent pictures and videos so we weren't worried while we were gone. We will definately return.
Leslie and James were so wonderful to my blind and semi deaf pup who is quite unique in her care. They took time to learn her ways and made sure she was comfortable for a long stay. Always sent updates and gave her so much love. Thank you very very much!!❤️

Leslie & James takes great care of my standard poodle Zulu when I travel with updates of photos and videos. They are very friendly, courteous and accommodating if I have to change my pick ups if I’m delayed at the airport, etc.

Schedule
We telework, so someone is always home to keep pups company and give frequent potty breaks. We like to go for walks in the evenings and on the weekends! For care in the client's home, we are generally available during weekends and then evenings during the week due to our regular work schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large, secure backyard, but any time spent outside is supervised. We are very flexible with care inside our home and will do whatever the client prefers in terms of crating and sleeping. We generally do not crate unless it is specifically requested.

Based on the preferences and comfort level of the owners, we can go on walks around the neighborhood or even hikes, or we can just play together in the backyard!
