About: Hello! My name is Tyler and I've been around animals my entire life. I am very comfortable with dogs and cats, including in my home, as we have a four-year old Frenchie, Odie, and two-year-old Boston Terrier, Marzipan. I am a work-from-home sports journalist who can leave the house, often at specific times, to meet your needs. I also have the flexibility to potentially stay at your home or be there during the day to interact with your animal, as I can work remotely as long as I have internet. I have been helping watch my friends' animals over the last 10-15 years, giving me plenty of experience to help with your animal and give them all the pets they want while I'm there! I am comfortable with doing things like giving medication, putting in a crate, take on walks, etc. Please feel free ot reach out if you have any questions! I am a work from home sports journalist with a very flexible schedule. I do have multiple YouTube shows I do each week where I would need to be in my office, but those are around 11 and 6 on both Mondays and Thursdays. I can do most of my work remotely, so I can sit for you by either hanging out during the day or possibly staying the night. I will treat your dogs like I do my own: with care, compassion, and a lot of love. I am a kind hearted soul myself, and often connect very well with dogs. Whether you need them to be walked, on strict rest, get lots of playtime, etc, I will gladly do that for your pup like I do for my own at home.

In this respect, I especially appreciate detailed care notes, as they help me provide the most consistent and personalized care possible. Every pet is different, and I believe clients know their pets best. At the same time, I use good judgment and common-sense safety practices to ensure pets remain safe, healthy, and comfortable while their parents are away. I am patient, attentive, and observant, and I make it a priority to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and needs. “Neha was absolutely amazing! I had just moved to a new neighborhood and was looking for someone to give my miniature golden retriever, Leia, dinner, a walk, and some extra belly rubs. Unfortunately, I forgot to update my address in the Rover app, so Neha ended up driving all the way to my old house across the Twin Cities. When she arrived, she noticed that the house didn’t match the photos and instructions I had provided and kindly reached out to me. I was out of town and didn’t see her message for over 30 minutes. I was horrified when I realized my mistake, especially since I was hours away and couldn’t do anything to help. Neha could not have been more gracious and understanding. Despite the inconvenience that I caused, she generously offered to drive to my new home and still take care of Leia. Monday and Tuesday I work 12-4 so I can watch your furry friends before or after. My schedule varies but I'm really flexible. I take care of 3 cats and help out with 3 dogs. I also had two 80 lbs Weimaraners, a black cat, and a teddy bear hamster growing up as well as taking care of all the neighbors pets when they would go on vacation prior to starting Rover! I now have interacted with almost every size of dog and multiple cats through my services. - I was a dual-sport athlete in college where I did gymnastics and track, and I currently weight lift. I preface this because some pet owners in the past have said I appear to be a smaller girl but I am stronger than I look and have walked/taken care of big dogs and very high energy dogs😂 - My services include: •30 minute dog walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood to give your pet some fresh air and exercise during the day. •30 minute drop-ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of love to make sure your pet is comfortable while you’re away. You may book two per day! •I’m always open to any extra needs or modifying for your situation!! I’m currently in law school and have class mid-day from August to May. I have mornings and evenings/nights open for drop in visits and dog walking during these months. From May to August, I work very early mornings 5x a week. I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. These aren’t mandatory to be able to book with me, just solely a comfort thing! •I remember the way pet items were stored in your home and return them back to the way they were after I’m done using them. •I always message you and ask for permission prior to entering any other part of the house that’s not necessary to the service. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂
