Dog Walking Loretto

About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. Doesn’t matter if they’re skittish or energetic. Please do not hesitate to let me know the specifics of your pet’s care needs. It is my duty to cater to their personality! Additionally, I will be sure to send lots of pictures to update you while you’re away.

About: I have been around dogs all my life. Currently mom of Benji he is 4 years old lhasa apso/shitzu. He is the light of my life and he loves being around smaller dogs like himself. Im a dog mom so I know how important is to have someone we can trust, count on when we need to leave them for a few days. I will treat them like my own. I work full time but most of my weekends are off. Just reach out and we will figure something out. I am a dog mom so I know and understand the importance of having someone taking care of our fur babies when we are gone. We have a fully fenced yard and closed lanai. Our home is pet friendly and secure. Benji has plenty of toys to share and extra bed.

“James is awesome. He did a meet and greet with both of my dogs prior to the walk and was understanding when I was late due to traffic. He has a calm demeanor and understands the importance of giving an anxious dog their space. My dogs did great on a walk with him, and he made sure that they were safe. My anxious dog actually approached and sniffed him after the walk, and even took some treats from him which is a big deal for her. I highly recommend James to anyone!”

About: I’ve cared for a few different types of animals, including cats (especially elderly), small dogs, hamsters, bunnies and reptiles. I’m very comfortable with taking care of these types of animals! I am currently a full time student with internship, I am not working so I have a lot of free time to care for pets, especially at night. I will care for pets however the client prefers their pet to be cared for. Every pet is different and has different needs, I will do my best to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life! I’ve had many exotic, farm and typical pets who all live happily at my family home. I have a cat of my own living with me here in college:) I have been working as a kennel technician for a year now doing grooming, cleaning, administering medication, exercising and more for dogs of all sizes. I am currently working part time so I am available to check in on pets multiple times a day as well as do an extended visit/stay if needed as much as my daily shift allows:) I am a person dedicated to the happiness and safety of pets. As a very avid animal lover I will always treat your babies as my own and ensure they are being cared for both emotionally and physically while you are away. I have seen a few horror stories about pet care experiences and would love to give you the relief of knowing someone cares about your loved ones. I have many pets of my own and understand boundaries when it comes to animals. I am more than willing to do any task needed to keep pets comfortable and feeling like normal even if they might seem a little silly!

With caring for you pet, I make it my commitment to give them my undivided attention while ensuring they have a great experience with me! I'm a full time student but I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to stop by / stay where the dog resides while giving them the best care needed. While visiting / staying in my clients home, I ensure all areas around me are clean and kept up with in a way that not only will please my client but also make a comfortable and safe surrounding for their furry friends.

About: Hi!! I am a full-time college student who is looking to help out over the summer!! I am ready to take on last minute jobs and am very communicative and dependable. During the academic year, I may be available for drop-in visits so please reach out to see if my schedule aligns. I am a very busy student, but for weekends or some afternoons I should be able to help. During summer or winter break, I am free to help! Whether this means walking, feeding, sitting or bathing! Dogs or Cats! Depending on the pet, I will play with or just keep watch over them. I do an exceptional job of following directions and keeping tidy!

My experience may not be formally documented, but it comes from years of genuine care, responsibility, and love for all animals. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative. Your pet will be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Thursday through Saturday, I have flexible availability and can provide care throughout the day. I currently work four days a week until 3 PM, so Sunday through Wednesday I'm available after 3 PM. I am happy to work with your pet’s schedule and routine! I love spending time in my own backyard, but I also enjoy exploring new places! My pup loves adventures, so we often visit on-leash parks for walks, fresh air, and new experiences. I enjoy giving dogs opportunities to safely explore, get exercise, and enjoy the world around them while always keeping their comfort and safety a priority. Play is a constant in our household! I believe playtime is about more than just fetch. I enjoy incorporating scent games, enrichment activities, and mentally stimulating games into a dog’s routine to help keep them happy and engaged (esp. if it's extremely hot or rainy)!

I’m Carissa, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all kinds — from energetic Chihuahuas and Yorkies to my two sweet Frenchies, including Luna, who’s been through two surgeries and needed lots of love and care. I’m comfortable with training routines, giving medications, and making sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether your pup needs a calm cuddle or a playful walk, I’m here to treat them like family! I’m working part time, my schedule is very flexible so I can meet and take care of your babies. Pet care is already a part of my daily life. I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’m used to early walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving meds when needed. Taking care of pets fits right into my routine and honestly brings me so much joy—I love making sure they’re happy and comfortable. My frenchie is very high maintenance so I will take care your baby like I take care of mine. I respect peoples home and will keep your animals safe at all times.

About: Both my and my husband are avid dog lovers! We have two of our own dogs, Rosie and Ellie. I am a registered nurse and pride myself on caring for others, regardless of if they have 2 feet or 4. I can house/pet sit for you or drop in for walks/feedings. During the time I spend caring for your fur babies, I will send frequent updates and pictures so you can enjoy your vacation without worrying about your fur babies. I am flexible to administer any medications they may need, any special diet scheduling, and special walking/exercise programs.
