About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. Doesn’t matter if they’re skittish or energetic. Please do not hesitate to let me know the specifics of your pet’s care needs. It is my duty to cater to their personality! Additionally, I will be sure to send lots of pictures to update you while you’re away.

About: I have been around dogs all my life. Currently mom of Benji he is 4 years old lhasa apso/shitzu. He is the light of my life and he loves being around smaller dogs like himself. Im a dog mom so I know how important is to have someone we can trust, count on when we need to leave them for a few days. I will treat them like my own. I work full time but most of my weekends are off. Just reach out and we will figure something out. I am a dog mom so I know and understand the importance of having someone taking care of our fur babies when we are gone. We have a fully fenced yard and closed lanai. Our home is pet friendly and secure. Benji has plenty of toys to share and extra bed.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have experience with cats, dogs, and senior pets, and I know every animal has their own personality and routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medications if needed, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and happy to send updates and photos so you know your furry family member is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my day. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care with advance notice. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always follow the care instructions you provide. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or stopping by for visits, I’ll treat your home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, exercise, companionship, and plenty of love. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and well cared for. I also have experience with oral and dental care for dogs, as well as administering medications if your furry friend is prescribed!

About: Hi!! I am a full-time college student who is looking to help out over the summer!! I am ready to take on last minute jobs and am very communicative and dependable. During the academic year, I may be available for drop-in visits so please reach out to see if my schedule aligns. I am a very busy student, but for weekends or some afternoons I should be able to help. During summer or winter break, I am free to help! Whether this means walking, feeding, sitting or bathing! Dogs or Cats! Depending on the pet, I will play with or just keep watch over them. I do an exceptional job of following directions and keeping tidy!

About: I’ve cared for a few different types of animals, including cats (especially elderly), small dogs, hamsters, bunnies and reptiles. I’m very comfortable with taking care of these types of animals! I am currently a full time student with internship, and I have a part time job where I work morning and evenings. I’m available more towards midday and early evenings (12pm-5pm) I started pet sitting because I love taking care of pets! I will care for pets however the client prefers their pet to be cared for. Every pet is different and has different needs, I will do my best to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life! I've always been drawn to animals and caring for them when they need a voice. I have been volunteering/fostering dogs and cats for many years now and have a lot of experience with all pets and behaviors! I'm currently working part-time remotely so I am able to feed/walk/socialize with your pets whenever it works for you, just let me know how I can help! I have a 7-year-old dachshund/cocker spaniel named Dunkin and a 1-year-old tuxedo cat named Moonie. Moonie is the boss and Dunkin just does whatever she wants.

About: I've fostered my whole life and started pet sitting when I was 16. I've got experience with all ages and sizes of animals. Elderly or new born I can care for them. I work a bit but am off on Sunday's, Monday's and Friday's. I work typically from 4:30 pm - 11 pm, before work i am at my clients house then after I get off I immediately go to my clients house about 30-40 minutes is how long I typically stay unless I can stay longer. If there is an emergency my mother or boyfriend of 5 years can help take care of your fur baby's. I have a fenced in yard 4 dogs and 11 cats (7 are spayed and neutered outside cats that just came with the house) a bird a snake and a crested gecko!

I have always enjoyed helping friends, family, and neighbors by caring for their pets. While I have not provided pet care professionally before or through a platform like Rover, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their needs. My experience may not be formally documented, but it comes from years of genuine care, responsibility, and love for all animals. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative. Your pet will be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Thursday through Saturday, I have flexible availability and can provide care throughout the day. I currently work four days a week until 3 PM, so Sunday through Wednesday I'm available after 3 PM. I am happy to work with your pet’s schedule and routine! I love spending time in my own backyard, but I also enjoy exploring new places! My pup loves adventures, so we often visit on-leash parks for walks, fresh air, and new experiences. I enjoy giving dogs opportunities to safely explore, get exercise, and enjoy the world around them while always keeping their comfort and safety a priority. Play is a constant in our household! I believe playtime is about more than just fetch. I enjoy incorporating scent games, enrichment activities, and mentally stimulating games into a dog’s routine to help keep them happy and engaged (esp. if it's extremely hot or rainy)!

About: I have taken care of animals of every kind since I was about 8. Over the years I have helped care for, train, and foster our dogs and cats I am currently a full time nurse that works 3 days a week. Although my schedule changes, I have 4 days during the week available to check on your dogs I will treat your pet with the same love and care that I would for my own dog. I have a nice walking path near the lake to take your pup and a young dog of my own to help keep your dog company.

About: We adopted our first dog about 10 years ago and have fostered several since then. Currently we have one dog who loves having others over for company. I have a fenced in backyard to allow for regular bathroom breaks, and an enclosed patio that makes for great squirrel watching or a change of scene from being inside. Dog guests are welcome to roam or lounge inside the house or on our enclosed patio. The backyard is fairly large, partially shaded, and fenced in. We live in a neighborhood that ends in a cauldesac, so there is minimal traffic, and has trees throughout that provide shade on walks. I have a large crate readily available if necessary during the day and for sleeping at night. The crate can be indoors or outdoors based on your preference. We can provide guests with a separate bedroom or the patio if they need some alone time.

I’m Carissa, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all kinds — from energetic Chihuahuas and Yorkies to my two sweet Frenchies, including Luna, who’s been through two surgeries and needed lots of love and care. I’m comfortable with training routines, giving medications, and making sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether your pup needs a calm cuddle or a playful walk, I’m here to treat them like family! I’m working part time, my schedule is very flexible so I can meet and take care of your babies. Pet care is already a part of my daily life. I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’m used to early walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving meds when needed. Taking care of pets fits right into my routine and honestly brings me so much joy—I love making sure they’re happy and comfortable. My frenchie is very high maintenance so I will take care your baby like I take care of mine. I respect peoples home and will keep your animals safe at all times.
