“Karisa E. is amazing in every way. I’m so thrilled that I booked her for drop-in visits for our two cats while we were on vacation for twelve days in Maui. Although I had been happy with other cat sitters that I’ve worked with on Rover, I decided to give Karisa a chance, because she was more affordable. Boy, am I so glad that I did. Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 18. In my early twenties, I regularly watched for two families. Over the years, I’ve cared for other animals here and there. My daughter loves to come support and learn about working. My two boys love to hug and give attention to all furry friends. I work full time, in Technology, at Fort Wayne Community Schools. I have flexibility in my hours if I need to stop by in the morning to care for an animal. My family does not have many commitments in the evening, which makes it easy to care for others pets. I have a fenced in backyard with a loving silver lab. I have an older cat that watches other animals in my home. When I visit your home, I always make sure your pet has fresh water. I give plenty of run downs. I like to spend time there with your pet so they don’t feel alone.

About: I love caring for animals, but travel enough to where I know I can’t have my own anymore. I watch my grand-dogs and I just have a blast with it. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life until now and have some love to give to your cute pet! I’ve had dogs ranging in sizes from a dachshund to a pure bred mastiff. I am almost always at home, so I can provide constant care and play time during the day. I am proficient is giving medications as well. (Even to the stubborn ones!) I take plenty of pictures and share lots of updates, so you won’t need to worry while you’re away. I look forward to giving your pet all of the love and special attention that it deserves! I spend the majority of my time at home so I have plenty of time to spoil your pet. When I do need to leave it’s not more than an hour or two. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet the needs of your pet. I live in an apartment but have plenty of space and go for plenty of walks.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and taken care of dogs since I was about 10. Dogs are my life. They run my household and my only one rule with them is to love on them. I work from home so your pet will never be alone. I spent the last few years taking care of my senior dog who was almost 15 when she crossed the bridge. I still take care of another senior dog for my family. I work from home so your pet will always have someone. I will work around your schedule for feeding and medicine. I do ask that you bring their beds and toys so that they feel more comfortable. Fenced in yard with no children/ pets. I do not crate the dogs. I am still grieving my soul dog so this is my way of being around dogs and loving on them while my heart heals.

About: I have an unconditional love for pets, they are literally the joy to my life. I've always been a pet love, ever since I was younger, I've house sit numerous times for my family, friends, and neighbors'. When your pet comes to my house, they are no longer a stranger, they are family, I will treat them as if they were my own dog Dahlia. I work Monday through Friday from home. I am free for pet drops offs anytime before 7am or after 5pm, I am off every weekend. I have 4 great helpers,who have the love to care for animals just as much as I do. I have a fenced in back yard, we enjoy play time outside .I have four extra helpers, who loves animals just as much as I do. We live in a dog friendly neighborhood, and enjoying going on walks, and cuddling.

About: I have been caring for the pets of my friends and family for over 5 years, and worked for a pet boarding facility for over a year. I’m a college student studying to be a veterinarian who wants to gain more experience working with pets. I have also completed the dog handler academy online training course for my last job! I am currently a college student who is able to take the time between and after my classes to care for pets. This also leaves my weekends completely open to focus on pet care! As someone who has worked for a boarding facility, i’ve done all kinds of pet care for all kinds of pets.
