About: I love your dog like my own. I provide a clean and safe environment with a structured schedule. I send daily photos with updates on how they are adjusting. I have taken care of dogs for most of my life and I'm a loving dog mom to my senior pup Ella. I've handled big dogs and little does, hounds, mastiff, you name it. From energetic to couch potato, I haven't found a pup I couldn't handle. Love them all ❤️ I work a structured schedule from 7-3 every weekday with weekends off. I potty and feed before work and hurry back to care for the pup after-work. I keep a clean, well-kept home with nothing out for dogs to eat or swallow. I have lifeproof flooring so they can roam freely with easy cleaning in case of accidents. I have a fenced in backyard for potty, playtime, or basking in the sun (as my dog loves to do). I live in a safe quiet neighborhood with little to no traffic and can provide daily walks, administrate medication, or any special requests you may have!

“Very quick and attentive!”

“Took great care of our cats, and checked on the house.”

About: I have been walking and watching dogs and other animals for many years! Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their fur babies. Due to my love of dogs, I decided to get a job at a doggy daycare two years ago. Working there has been the best job experience of my life. It has made me grow a deeper appreciation to each kind of dog, personality and temperament. I was quickly promoted to a shift lead at the daycare due to my hard work and deep care of the dogs. I ensure that each dog is taken great care of and loved while away from home. I am able to easily recognize canine language and adapt to their needs. Additionally, about two years ago, my family decided to adopt a puppy, Beau. I spent the beginning months of his life training and taking care of him before moving away from home. It was a difficult, but rewarding task that I can’t wait to experience again with my own dog. While I am a major dog lover through and through, I also have a deep appreciation for cats. I have two 1.5 year old cats that have such funky personalities and are different in their own ways. I love them with all my heart! In all, I absolutely love animals and would love to take care of your fur babies while you’re away! Due to living in a college home, I cannot own my own dog yet. Even when I am not working with dogs, or at home with my own cats, I enjoying walking and taking care of others’ animals! I am a full-time student at the University of Kansas, but my class schedule leaves me with lots of time before and after classes. With my part-time/full-time job at the doggy day care, I still have plenty of time for your fur babies, I just may need to readjust watching hours! I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and schedule. I want to ensure that they are comfortable and happy while being watched! I also would love to keep them as close to their schedule as possible, I know it can be difficult for some dogs to adapt to change, but I want to help make their lives as stress-free as possible

“Annicka was kind and professional - I could tell that my cats were in good hands. Her home was clean, and she was very responsive to messages. Thanks for working with me so last minute! 🙏🏻”

About: In middle school I would volunteer weekly at the humane society. During this volunteer work I would feed the animals, help made treats and enrichment toys, and I would also walk the dogs around the yard. In high school I worked at the same humane society as a kennel tech so I am used to being around all types of animals! I am also used to being around cats and dogs of any temper and am knowledgeable on reading their body language. I am a full time student at Washburn University so I will have availability after 5pm on weekdays and then all day on the weekends! When providing walking services I will ensure that we walk a safe path and that the ground is not too hot for your dogs paws. I have 2 large dogs of my own so I am very comfortable walking any size dog! When providing drop by services I will make sure to follow any instructions that are provided to me like taking the dog out to potty, feeding them, and kenneling them if needed. If the dog has made a mess in the house I am also willing to clean up after the pet when necessary!

“Kylee was a WONDERFUL Rover sitter! She was on time based on our agreement every day, she treated my pup like her own, and sent the best pictures! I will definitely book her again! (Once Coronavirus allows me to get back to business as usual).”

“Ashley did a wonderful job looking after my cats over a holiday weekend (and during inclement weather!). She took care of everything just as requested and spent lots of time playing with them. Highly recommended!”

About: I'm especially good with timid animals, and I love making them feel more at ease. I have a soft presence and a lot of patience. I'm good at reading dog language. I'm super responsible, so you can count on me to follow your dog's preferred daily schedule and to send you updates. I work from home, in a neighborhood that's pleasant for dog walking, and we have a fenced backyard. I grew up with small dogs, wanted to be a vet. I've cared for my current doggo for 9 years. I work from home, and my time AWAY from home is flexible. I can definitely be here as your dog is getting used to our home. About your dog's experience in our home: My home office is on the main floor, and I'm aware of all activity in my small-ish house. Your dog can rest on the sofa, futon, rugs, or the big dog bed--or in a kennel if they prefer. I have a fenced yard with room to run. Our friendly 10-year-old, 35-pound boxer mutt, Kiri, enjoys playing with small dogs. But she's not at all pushy. :-) About caring for timid animals: I had a deep, deep bond with a very timid cat, and I just have a super soft spot in my heart for them. I had a shy young kiddo. One of my "day jobs" is a coach for introverted people: I help people honor their introversion, including their need for quiet, calm, and solitude. About my profile photos: I'm the one in the family who takes the photos, so it's nearly impossible to find a photo of ME and Kiri. :-} I include some photos of our house and yard (kids' faces blurred) to give you a sense of our space. Kiri is part of our family. She hangs out in the common spaces with us, and in the backyard. We take her to the dog park or on daily neighborhood walks. The first 3 photos are at dog parks. The rest of the photos show our house and yard.

About: My reactive Border Collie has taught me such patience with training and learning new skills. No dog is a lost cause or too old to learn, nor too rambunctious! Let’s play! I’m a freelance worker who loves animals and loves helping out furry families. I always hated worrying about my pets while working, longing to be home, so I want to be of help to other fur families! I will take care of your pet in your home in whatever fashion and tradition that you and they are used to. I will do my best to make it as easy, simple and fun as can be!

“Austin and his wife were amazing! They treated my cat, Moose, so so well. They have a separate room to help her feel safer as well! They also kept great communication, and sent updates throughout the days! Overall, they were great!”
