Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. I have experience administering oral and surface medications. I do work full time but I live where I work so it is easy to step out of my office and come to my home and relieve pets. I can also work from home if need be to spend extra time with your pet. My weekend availability will always be open as I only work Monday through Friday. My apartment is very spacious. They would have access to only the living room if I am away but all other spaces when I am home. I have space for a crate if you prefer to have that in the space. About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I've had dogs my entirely life and I can confidently say they are my favorite animal. Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience taking care of dogs with various illnesses, and I have also cared for and had puppies. My favorite part about pet care is being able to spend time with and bond with a variety of animals and make them feel as safe and secure as possible while their owners are away. My current work schedule is 6am-2pm Mon-Fri with a short break around 9am where I have time to run home and let my dog out. Your pets safety and well being is my main priority. I try to stick to a strict schedule of feeding times and walkies. I have a spacious home with a fenced in back yard. I have a kennel that can be put up for any pups that require a kennel as well as a spare room that can be a safe space for any animal that doesn’t care to socialize with the rest of my animals.
About: I have taken care of dogs within my family, friends of the family. I take daily walks with all 3 of mine each day, make sure to keep track of their health. I enjoy taking dogs places like the park, I have realized a dogs best therapy is being outdoors where they truly can be themselves. I am currently a student at the University of Kansas and summer is here. It will definitely fit into my schedule now since I have a lot more availability and flexibility. I make sure that they are on a schedule, fed certain times a day, with certain measurements, make sure that they have what they need at all times. Whether that be taking them for a walk, having a good belly rub, or even getting them their favorite treat!
About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.

My family and I have fostered dogs frequently so I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I love being around dogs, playing with them, and making sure that they are well-loved. I am currently a student at the University 5 days a week but I enjoy caring for animals in between classes and love to spend time with them as I do homework and assignments.
