About: With over 26 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I bring a level of knowledge and confidence that goes beyond basic pet sitting. I've raised, trained, and worked closely with my own dogs over the years, friends, and family- giving me real world understanding of behavior, routines, and what each dog needs to feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pup is high-energy, shy, senior, needs any medication, or somewhere in between, I adapt my care to match their personality and routine so they feel at home even when you're away. My goal is simple: provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your dog happy, secure, and well loved and gives you complete peace of mind. I am focusing on working with what I love. That just happens to be dogs! My availability is open so I'm ready to get started! I offer everything EXCEPT for boarding in my own home or cat care as I am highly alleric. I keep to my clients routine as closely as possible, I love very specific instructions so I can make sure I'm doing what needs to be done to make sure the pets are well taken care of. My dogs get playtime daily, they go out multiple times a day, and they get treats in moderation. Positive reinforcement is the only way to go. No yelling, or anything of the kind. I am patient, even if accidents happen.

About: Pretty much not a single day of my life has gone by without being around animals/pets. Even though I am new to the rover platform, I have cared for animals my whole life and will treat your fur baby just like one of my own! I’m really trying to build up my clientele to make this a successful side business so if you give me a shot I won’t disappoint! I currently work 2nd shift so I am readily available most weeks as listed: Mon, Wed, Thurs = 10am-3pm Tues = 10am-1pm Fri & Sat = 10am-6pm Sun = not available None of those times are set in stone and depending on the situation I may still be able to work something out with you. I’m flexible so you just let me know what you need. Those times are just a general idea of when I’m available each day of the week. I will treat your home with respect and will follow any guidelines you ask in order to care for your pet. Safety is my #1 priority so I will always ensure I am following your routine of doing things to keep your pet free from danger (walking on a leash if you do so, not letting them escape the house, etc)

About: If you book with me I can assure you a safe, fun, and nurturing environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and expert attention for your loving animals. Peace of mind for you— paradise and tail wags for them! 💞🐾 I have extensive experience with cats and dogs. I’m 25 and I grew up with so many cats, dogs, reptiles, I have even helped rescue deer, owls, pigs, and goats before too! I specialize in dog training, I have been doing it for 7 years now and have loved every minute of it- it is my true passion!! ❤️ That is another great reason to book with me, since I am well equipped to handle the many behaviors dogs may experience during their stay, and doing it in a safe manner as well. I have trained and rehabilitated many dogs that had severe anxiety and aggression too, some of them eventually became service dogs because of how well they transformed into a better version of themselves! I’m experienced with many different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs so I am well versed in knowing personalities and behaviors and how to handle them in any way. ❤️😁 If you book with me your dog will experience fun activities such as enrichment toys, puzzle games, walks on trails, public outings such as to stores, parks, certain restaurants. They will also get to join pack walks, play time with other dogs, and one on one time with me! And if your dog is a couch potato 🥔 they can cozy up on the dog couch and enjoy their vacation in peace! 🏝️🐕💛 If you book with me your dog will experience a safe, fun, peaceful environment to where they will be excited to come back again! 🐾🎾 it is the opposite of when they go to the vet and have their tail tucked all nervously- your dog will have their tail wagging in the wind and jumping of joy as soon as you pull into my driveway because they know this is the place for fun and relaxation!! 🥳🥰🙌 All activities are very structured here. All dogs are supervised at all times when they are not crated, and when they are crated they are supervised by a camera I have connected to an app in my phone! Things are very structured in a sense of safety, behavior, and peace within all of the dogs during their stay. That’s where being a dog trainer comes in handy and the dogs can have fun while being in a calm state of mind! 😉🧘‍♀️💗🐾 I have three large dog yards- two are fenced in with 6ft privacy fence, and one yard is 6ft chain link fence. They can go potty, play, sun bathe, play in the dog pool, or just enjoy the fresh air. This is also nice if your dog isn’t aloud around other dogs- they will have their own large area to do their business and enjoy their time outdoors in a safe private area too!! 😌❤️ Cats love it here too! 🐈🐈‍⬛ your furry baby will get to enjoy toys, lick mats, cat castles and scratching boards. Even some cat nip if they’d like 🤪😸, and plenty of cuddles to “make biscuits”. 🥰🐾 If your dog can’t be around other dogs or cats, that is no problem here. I have plenty of room to give dogs and cats their own private space to still keep them at peace and accommodate to their needs during their stay! I like to match personalities within dogs so they can make great friends while they are on their vacation too!! It is also no problem if your dog/cat is on any medications as well- they will be issued them as directed during their stay and I am well experienced with that as well, so don’t worry about that! ❤️‍🩹🩺🐾 I always send plenty of updates by text with photos and videos during their stay so you don’t feel left out as I know it’s hard to leave our fur babies while we’re away! 📲📸🥰 If you book with me I can assure you your fur babies will have a blast and want to come back for more, there is plenty of love to go around here and I hope to meet your furry companions soon! 💞🐕🐕‍🦺🦮🐩🐈‍⬛🐈💞 I currently am a dog trainer, though I am still flexible and available to schedule at your convenience! Sometimes my mornings can be quite busy, but I will always do everything I can to exhaust all measures in making sure scheduling you isn’t a problem! I have 4 dogs- 2 German shepherds and 2 shepherd mix breeds. 3 are female 1 is male. I have 1 male indoor cat and 5 outdoor cats. I can assure your fur baby won’t feel lonely with the company of my own companions!! 💞 -I have multiple different rooms your fur baby can stay in if they need their own private space. -3 large fenced in yards. -structured play time with other dogs and solo play time. -pack walks and solo walks -public outings/hikes -crated when unsupervised to ensure safety of all dogs -enrichment toy/puzzle time each day to mentally stimulate and help soothe your dog -endless cuddles and love to go around 💗🥰🐾

About: Hi there! I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have a 6 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, so I’m no stranger to high energy dogs that need structure, exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. Through caring for my own dog and helping friends and family with theirs over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from daily walks and feeding routines to enrichment, playtime, and providing extra patience for anxious or reactive pups. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. One of the perks of working freelance is having a flexible schedule! That means I can often accommodate daytime walks, drop-ins, and last-minute requests. I love spending time with animals, so getting to care for pets throughout my week is something I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I’ve been trusted by friends and mutual friends to care for both their homes and pets over the years, so I understand how important that trust is and don’t take it lightly. I treat every home with respect, provide regular updates, and strive to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away.

About: My love of pet care began at age 14 when I got my 1st job working with a vet. I bicycled each morning at 6 am before school to clean cages. My love and determination has not waned over the years and I have continued, off and on, to work with vets and offer in home pet care to a diverse group of clients from birds to wolfhounds for the last 30+ years.. I am looking forward to meeting your fur family and discussing how I might provide the best care for your loved ones in your absence. As a fellow user of this service, I understand the desire for an experienced, trust worthy, capable, level headed care giver with a degree of common sense. My aim is to provide the same level of care that I would expect my family to receive as well. Your sense of confidence in my abilities to care for your family is my #1 priority. I bi-locate between Greensboro and Danville and am available in both locations and between. I look forward to speaking with you! At the moment, in home pet care is my first priority and upon approval, I can be available 7 days per week as well as on an extended basis, upon review and acceptance by both parties for in your home pet care and walking duties as well as drop-in visits. I have found most pets prefer to be in their own homes and around familiar sights and sounds to ease their transition from their primary caregiver to me. For this reason, I highly recommend in home pet care. I am willing to discuss pet care in my home on a case by case basis.

About: I treat every dog like family—lots of love, attention, and a routine that keeps them comfortable and stress-free. I have experience with both energetic puppies (helping reinforce potty training, basic commands, and structure) and senior dogs who need a little extra care, patience, and sometimes medication support. I’m very attentive and pick up quickly on each dog’s personality and needs. Plus, I keep you updated with pictures and check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing! Pet care is intentionally built into my daily and weekly schedule so I can provide consistent, high-quality attention without ever feeling rushed. I block off time specifically for each pet to ensure they receive the care, exercise, and interaction they’re used to at home. My routine is designed to prioritize reliability, flexibility, and a calm, structured environment—so your dog experiences stability, not disruption. I provide care that keeps your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether in my home or yours. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, including medications. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets receive plenty of attention, supervised care, and a calm routine. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality—whether they need more activity, structure, or a quieter setting. My goal is always the same: your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent time on my grandfather’s farm, helping care for all kinds of animals, which taught me patience and responsibility from a young age. Over the years, I’ve also raised my own dogs from the puppy stage, so I’m very comfortable with training, housebreaking, and giving lots of love and attention to growing pets. Because of this experience, I’m confident caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including seniors who need a little extra patience and care. I treat every pet like part of my family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is my priority and a big part of my everyday life. I have a very flexible schedule and am always available to give pets the attention they need. I plan my days around walks, feeding times, and playtime, making sure every pet feels cared for and safe. Whether it’s early morning potty breaks, midday walks, or late night cuddles, I’m available and ready to make pets feel at home. I live in a spacious, pet friendly apartment in a safe and quiet neighborhood, which makes it perfect for dogs to relax and feel at home. I keep my space clean, cozy, and pet proof, and there’s plenty of room for play and rest. When pets stay with me, they get lots of love, attention, and structured potty breaks. I enjoy going on regular walks around my neighborhood, which is calm and great for exercise. I make sure to stick to each pet’s normal routine for meals, bathroom breaks, playtime, and bedtime so they feel comfortable and secure. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their exact instructions to keep pets happy and stress free. I make sure food, water, and medication schedules are followed closely, and I send regular updates and pictures so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I grew up with a German Shepherd and have been caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments for over 10 years. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, medication schedules, or just quality couch time, I treat every dog like my own. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. My mother was a dog sitter when I was younger so that has made me comfortable around most if not all breeds. I would help her with the feeding while she took them out. Now that I’m older I have two huskies and a cat. My goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets 😂. So, my love for animals is quite enormous. I do currently work from home M-F. I can give potty breaks every 2-3 hours while working. Since I work from home your pet would have to be well mannered while I’m on the phone. They of course will be welcomed to lay around me while working and will be loved on the entire time 😊. I have a huge yard, 2 acres worth. About 1/2 an acre is fenced in for the dogs. I have 2 spunky huskies well one tends to be more lazy than anything and I have a cat that loves our dogs.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Locust Hill. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
