About: Pretty much not a single day of my life has gone by without being around animals/pets. Even though I am new to the rover platform, I have cared for animals my whole life and will treat your fur baby just like one of my own! I’m really trying to build up my clientele to make this a successful side business so if you give me a shot I won’t disappoint! I currently work 2nd shift so I am readily available most weeks as listed: Mon, Wed, Thurs = 10am-3pm Tues = 10am-1pm Fri & Sat = 10am-6pm Sun = not available None of those times are set in stone and depending on the situation I may still be able to work something out with you. I’m flexible so you just let me know what you need. Those times are just a general idea of when I’m available each day of the week. I will treat your home with respect and will follow any guidelines you ask in order to care for your pet. Safety is my #1 priority so I will always ensure I am following your routine of doing things to keep your pet free from danger (walking on a leash if you do so, not letting them escape the house, etc)
About: I am a "gentle giant" with a lifelong passion for animals and over 19 years of experience providing dedicated pet care. I treat your home with the same respect and care that I treat your pets. Animals truly take to me. I provide a calm, steady presence that helps even the most anxious pets feel safe and relaxed. I am also an avid photographer! You won't just get a "check-in" text; you’ll receive high-quality, beautiful photos of your pets throughout the day so you can see exactly how happy and settled they are. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a steady hand for medication, or just a big guy to curl up next to for a nap, I am here to provide the five-star care they deserve Please don't hesitate to reach out. I am fully experienced in administering medications—whether it’s pills, liquids, or specialized care—and I am highly attuned to the subtle changes in a senior pet's comfort and behavior.

About: My love of pet care began at age 14 when I got my 1st job working with a vet. I bicycled each morning at 6 am before school to clean cages. My love and determination has not waned over the years and I have continued, off and on, to work with vets and offer in home pet care to a diverse group of clients from birds to wolfhounds for the last 30+ years.. I am looking forward to meeting your fur family and discussing how I might provide the best care for your loved ones in your absence. As a fellow user of this service, I understand the desire for an experienced, trust worthy, capable, level headed care giver with a degree of common sense. My aim is to provide the same level of care that I would expect my family to receive as well. Your sense of confidence in my abilities to care for your family is my #1 priority. I bi-locate between Greensboro and Danville and am available in both locations and between. I look forward to speaking with you! At the moment, in home pet care is my first priority and upon approval, I can be available 7 days per week as well as on an extended basis, upon review and acceptance by both parties for in your home pet care and walking duties as well as drop-in visits. I have found most pets prefer to be in their own homes and around familiar sights and sounds to ease their transition from their primary caregiver to me. For this reason, I highly recommend in home pet care. I am willing to discuss pet care in my home on a case by case basis.
About: I’ve always had a passion for animals. Growing up, my mother was a dog sitter, which made me comfortable around most, if not all, breeds. I would help her with feeding while she took the dogs out. Now that I’m older, I have two huskies and a cat. My ultimate goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets. 😂 So, my love for animals is quite immense. I’m currently in school and volunteer for 4-5 hours each day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I can provide potty breaks whenever needed, except during my volunteer work. Since these volunteer days are mandatory for my school program, we’ll have to find a way to accommodate them. Aside from these commitments, I’m mostly at home, except for occasional errands. I only allow one pooch per night, as per my previous experiences. Please be considerate of this, unless discussed otherwise, as it’s more for the comfort of both yours and mine. ☺️ I have a vast yard, spanning 2 acres. Approximately half of it is fenced in to provide a safe space for my two energetic huskies. One of them is particularly lazy, while the other is quite active. Additionally, I have a cat that has a fondness for our dogs.
“Erika goes the extra mile to be helpful with Remi. Very dependable and has a lot of patience with Remii. I plan on using her again. Thanks for all you have helped to teach my dog. Remi loves her.”

“He has been amazing! Our dogs are so well cared for and he’s always right on time. He takes the time to play with them during their daily walk, his communication is always prompt and he’s been flexible when things have come up. Highly recommend 😊”

As a caregiver, pet care is an integral part of my daily or weekly routine. It involves scheduled activities such as feeding, walking, and playtime, all tailored to the individual needs of each pet I'm responsible for. Additionally, I prioritize communication with pet owners, providing them with updates on their pets' well-being and addressing any concerns that may arise. Ensuring that pets receive proper care, attention, and companionship is a consistent and important aspect of my routine. Having someone reliable, care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, has been shown to minimize stress while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client's home, there are several important aspects for me to consider: 1. ** Feeding and Watering:** Ensure that the pets are fed according to their schedule and dietary requirements. Provide fresh water at all times. 2. **Medications:** Administer any necessary medications as instructed by the client or veterinarian. 3. **Exercise:** Take the pets for regular walks or outdoor playtime to meet their exercise needs and provide mental stimulation. 4. **Toilet Breaks:** Let the pets out for bathroom breaks and clean up after them as needed. 5. **Play and Interaction:** Engage in interactive play sessions, provide toys, and offer companionship to prevent boredom and loneliness. 6. **Housekeeping:** Ensure the pet's living area is clean and tidy, including cleaning up any accidents or messes. 7. **Communication:** Maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing updates on their pets' well-being and any concerns that arise. 8. **Emergency Preparedness:** Be aware of emergency contacts, the location of the nearest veterinary clinic, and any specific instructions for emergencies. Every pet is unique, so it's crucial for me to follow the owner's instructions and cater to the specific needs and routines of each pet I am caring for.
