About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 16 starting with mastifs. I had mastifs until my twenties until I became a K9 handler in law enforcement. As a K9 handler i trained many dogs. After law enforcement, I started training and boarding dogs full time. My friends and family have always trusted me to keep thier loved ones when going on vacation. I currently train dogs full time from home. I work from Home and I’m home most of the time. I have pets and dogs in training almost daily. I have a fenced in yard with access to water, and possibly a swimming trough in the summer. I have and use FI gps collars. Especially with dogs that may seem to have more anxiety during separation

About: I have cared for a pet for virtually every year of my life that I can remember. From puppies and kittens to the most elder of the two, I cherish all stages of their development and love the joy that each unique individual personality of each pet brings to our world. I'm currently working part time, and on the days that I do work, I work remotely, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to the care of your pet. I have a beautiful large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac that is full of trees. We live in a very nice neighborhood that is perfect for walking dogs also. We have two indoor cats that get along beautifully and are adaptable to other animals. We have a very clean home and are non-smokers.
About: I have been employed at an animal hospitals for 25 years and have pet sat for cats, dogs, rabbits, horses and birds over the years. I am trustworthy and reliable I am currently working full-time at an animal hospital 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. I can come in the morning midday at lunchtime or after work if you’re in the area, I can also stay overnight at your home if you prefer. I do have a home with 6 acres however I do not have a fenced yard so I prefer to care for pets in your home. They are often less stress when they are at home in their own environment and seem much happier at their own home.

I own a farm with lots of rescue animals and used to rehabilitate injured & abandoned wildlife for release back into the wild. About: To me, animals are the most innocent companions we have. They deserve to feel safe, understood, and loved. While I’m not a vet, I bring a deep sense of empathy and a lifelong passion for animals to every interaction. I work 6:30am - 3pm in Lake City, Monday-Friday. So I can do one Lake City trip and one trip in Jasper or Live Oak Monday - Friday. I am free more on the weekends so I can do at least two drop ins on the weekends if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home. But I am trustworthy and believe that an animal should be left in the environment that they are most familiar with. Removing them from their environment to a strangers will cause too much stress so I am not an advocate of bringing animals to my house. As far as my routine, once I get a new client, I will want to meet the new client and their fur child before they leave for their designated trip. It’s SO IMPORTANT they see me interact with their owner and know that I’m not a threat especially in their own environment. This creates trust and builds a bond between myself and the animal. (Cats can be territorial too! I’ve seen them attack intruders. Don’t underestimate them.) Keeping to routine and treats go a long way are my two general rule of thumb. Animals aren’t human and they don’t like a lot of change so continuing the same routine as their owner is important as fat meal times or cleaning out litter boxes. Not to mention giving them treats after every visit lets them be excited for you to come AND leave.

About: I've grown up with many animals since I can remember. Your furry friend is sure to find a friend here in my home with a chihuahua, great white pyr, antolian sheperd, goats, and cat. If they prefer to be the only pet in a home, I can accommodate keeping them separate with majority of the home to themselves free range. Pets are welcome on the couch and in the bed in my home. Your pet would never have a boring dull day here on the micro farm :) I have a fenced half acre yard with two friendly well rounded livestock guardian dogs. They would love to have a friend visiting and this will ensure your dog gets fellow canine socialization and playtime while staying with us! If they are not a social dog, I can keep them to front yard solo walks and outdoor time, and they will have the majority of the home to themselves as they please if needed.
