Keah did drop in visits while we were away on vacation with our Cane Corso who had recently had surgery to repair torn acl’s and meniscus. Keah was accommodating to the restrictions and provided great visits. I received detailed communication about every single visit. I will definitely use Keah in the future.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the services Emily provided and will definitely be using her again when the need arises. During the meet-and-greet, both Bobo and Ellie, my cats, were reluctant to come out of their safe places, which is normal when they encounter new people. However, based on Emily’s photos and videos, they warmed up to her on the first drop-in visit. Emily was always punctual and spent the entire remaining time playing with Bobo and Ellie after feeding and litter box duty. The videos show they both absolutely adored Emily and soaked in the attention they received from her. Emily gave twice daily summaries about feedings, litter box patrol, and playtime. She also accompanied the summaries with pictures and videos of Bobo and Ellie to reassure me they were just fine. Emily is definitely an asset to the Rover company! Her obvious love of animals, along with her ability to follow instructions, and her sweet, bubbly personality make her the best choice to take care of our fur babies! Thanks, Emily! You’re a gem!

Sami did a great job caring for our two cats while we were gone for a week. She kept in frequent communication with me (which I really appreciated cause I can be kind of needy, lol), and the cats were happy when we got home. She got our mail too! Thanks, Sami!

Kelly was AMAZING!!! Her timing was prompt & she went above and beyond my expectations. Working long shifts in healthcare leaves me so stressed knowing my furbabies are at home alone & knowing they got such good care from Kelly was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough. For taking the extra time to walk her, making sure she got multiple potty opportunities, and the photo updates. Highly recommend 🤩

About: As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’ll do my best to keep them happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I work full-time, but I prioritize clear communication and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. Overnight stays fit well into my schedule, and I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, walks, meals, and affection before and after work. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re’re doing. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their own home and follow their normal routine. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, respect your home, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos for your peace of mind.

My home is a safe, dog-friendly environment where your pup can feel relaxed, get plenty of love, and burn off some energy with lots of play and attention. We live in a home within a quiet neighborhood, with a nicely sized fenced-in backyard—perfect for running, sniffing, and supervised outdoor play. I’m currently home full-time, so your pup will have my full attention and care throughout the day. I have experience handling all kinds of dogs, from high-energy pups to more chill companions, and I’m committed to keeping them happy, healthy, and safe while in my care. You’ll also get regular updates and photos so you can see all the tail-wagging fun! Services I offer: • Pet Boarding – A cozy home-away-from-home with built-in playmates Let’s set up a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s the paw-fect fit! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! Since I’m currently home full-time, I’m able to give each dog in my care plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I build my schedule around their needs—whether it’s playtime in the backyard, walks around the neighborhood, feeding, or quiet cuddle time. With my own two social dogs, Mavis and Finn, there’s always a good mix of activity and companionship, and I make sure every pup feels right at home. I care for pets in my home as if they were my own! During boarding and daycare, dogs enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of playtime, affection, and supervision. We have a fenced-in backyard for outdoor fun and two friendly resident dogs, Mavis and Finn, who love to play and help new pups feel at ease. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, and any special instructions provided. I also have a medium-sized crate available if your dog prefers a cozy spot to relax. For dog walking, I make sure each pup gets a safe, enjoyable walk at their own pace with lots of sniffing and movement. I always provide water breaks if needed and send updates so you know how your dog’s doing. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home—whether they’re staying for a few hours or a few days.

About: I’ve grown up around all types of pets and absolutely love all animals! We’ve had an array of animals in our house growing up such as a German shepherd, parakeets, love birds, hamsters, gerbils, hermit crabs, and Jack Russell terriers! I now own three dogs! We have a super sweet labrador, a frenchie, and a boxer-pit mix. We love taking our big dogs on hikes and out to socialize any chance we get! Daily walks and outside time are a must for our pups and we love every minute of it. I have experience with IVDD and surgeries to follow with my French Bulldog. With that being said, I have first hand experience with caring for a medically fragile animal, administering medications, and seeing signs of discomfort in animals. As a pet owner and lover I know the importance of making sure you have someone you trust with your animal babies! I’m transitioning from being in the classroom full time to substitute teaching once school starts back up. I am free for the summer and will have flexibility in my schedule, especially for afternoons and evenings. I take my own pups out for a walk at least twice a day morning and evening. They also have outside time at least 3-4 times a day for 20+ minutes. If you choose to have your pet board with us we have a full privacy fenced backyard. We also have crates and gated off rooms to separate pups in they need a break or some down time. Our neighborhood is very walkable and private with low traffic.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Little Mountain. On Rover:

  • 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
