About: My name is Allison, and I live in Litchfield with my two adorable dogs - Jackson, who is a 12-year-old Boston Terrier, and Mojo, who is a 12-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug mix. I have been providing pet care services for more than a decade now, and I take great pride in offering compassionate and loving care to all animals. It all started in 2010 when I launched my own Pet Sitting and Dog Walking business. Through this business, I have been able to offer pets superior care services in the comfort of their own homes. Five years ago, I decided to expand my knowledge and education on the canine mind, and I became a certified dog trainer. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old and got my very first dog. I love all types of dogs, I can even handle aggressive dogs with ease! I always love to spend my free time with animals. Any availability I have is used to to go towards my pets and hopefully yours! I never let animals I don't know very well be off leash outside without my supervision, it is dangerous to me to be careless like that. I never take it too fast and id love to scedule a meet and greet.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs of all kinds since middle school, walking and pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors alike. I believe every dog deserves the same level of affection, patience, and care as my own, while also giving each one the individual attention they need to feel comfortable and happy. I work full-time during the week, typically until 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and until 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. I’m available for evening walks on weekdays, as well as full availability on weekends and holidays. About: I provide, as well as top-notch care,a uniquely adaptive music therapy session for your pet so that even the most high-strung pets can feel relaxed and reassured by the sound of live classical piano music. A professional musician,I have also raised a litter of 10 puppies and have owned at least one dog at every point in my life.I am a consummate pet lover with 2 dogs currently. If your animal is a bit of a loner I can provide sequestered accommodations. I have a 16 year old who also loves animals; she as well has never lived without a dog. One of her passions is horseback riding and through this activity she has achieved a gentle but commanding demeanor around most animals. Between the two of us your pet will never lack a playmate! My work schedule allows for either me or my daughter to always be at home, so the pets have round the clock love and attention. I have a fenced in yard, and a house with plenty of space for pets to hang out. My 2 dogs are very friendly and are used to visiting dogs.

“Hey, I just wanted to give a big shout out to my new pet sitter Madeline I have an old big GreatDane named Murphy Usually, I can make it home for a little break midday to let him out, but work has been crazy lately.I always feel bad that he might be stressing about going out to the bathroom midday. So on a whim, I started researching Rover Sitter’s I really thought it was going to be a process I figured I would reach out to one or two sitters a week and do some meet and greets So I found Madeline on Rover and, she looked kind and caring, and I liked the reviews from legitimately caring pet owners So I reached out to her on Friday, she got back to me within seconds, and suggested that we meet on Saturday Wow, never thought it was going to be that quick I thought I’d have to wait and wait and wait for responses So we plan to meet and greet and I told her that my house was a little hard to find, and GPS always messes everybody up I explained to her what my house looked like Come Saturday, she arrived early, explaining that she wanted to make sure that she found my house I was impressed that somebody was very considerate of my time She came in my house and she was very calm and spoke quietly to him , which is exactly what he is used to I explained my concerns to her and how he was getting older and I worry about him. She had told me how she just recently lost her 13 year-old dachshund, and she understood how hard it is to lose a dog , I was thinking in my head , her dog must of had had a lot of love and good care if it live to be 13 years old so fast-forward to today when she did the drop in visit She sent me pictures, and she sent me a “ Report Card” She told me that she took Murphy outside and then they came inside and she just sat on the couch with him, and petted him and talk to him. Well, that’s exactly what I would’ve done with my old man. I don’t have to look any further and I don’t have to interview any more people because Madeline is the one! I appreciate her sensitivity, her promptness, her pictures, and her report card Thank you, thank you so much, Madeline, you are the best and I appreciate you so much”

About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. Things happen; life happens, and hopefully you will feel that choosing me as your pet's Auntie makes things much easier for you. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.

I am a teacher during the day. I'm usually home by 3. I'm home every afternoon and every night and every weekend. I do have flexibility in my work schedule should they need arise. I have a dog lead hooked up to the house and it goes all the way back to the maple tree on the back of the property. 20 ft in either direction gives Fido plenty of room to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, your pup is in the house with me and my family. I am offering dog boarding services. This is a friendly Christian home. Lots of love to share.

About: I have over 4 years of experience pet sitting for dogs, cats, and small animals. I currently house sit regularly for a family in South Kent, which has helped me build strong routines and trust with both pets and owners. I currently work in the Washington/Kent area pet sitting monthly for a family in Kent and babysitting in Washington. About: I have owned a cat for seven years, and I enjoy brushing him, feeding him, giving him treats, cleaning the litter box, and cuddling. Sometimes he comes into my room, jumps on my bed, and sleeps with me. I also walk a puppy, a bulldog, named Buckiss. I clean up after him, and enjoy spending time rubbing his belly, and playing catch. At the end of our walk, I bring him back to his house, feed him, and give him water. I follow strict feeding instructions on how much food to give, and what kind of food he's allowed to have (no more than 2 treats a day). When walking in the winter, I make sure Buckiss has dog booties so his feet don't get hurt. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time in my schedule to care for your pet! I have a pretty flexible schedule. When I come to take care of a pet in my client’s home, I make sure that they are cared for with love and I do everything I can to make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable with me. I also make sure that when I end the stay, the client’s home is in the same or better condition than when I first came. I will make sure to clean after myself and leave the place looking as spotless as I can. I try to be a considerate and clean house guest.
