About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals is more than just a hobby for me it’s something I have professional experience with and truly love. I currently work at a dog and cat daycare facility, where I care for pets of all ages and personalities, including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs. I also have experience administering medications and providing extra care for senior pets and animals with special needs. I previously interned at a cat veterinary clinic for a year, which gave me valuable experience with cats and helped me learn how to recognize changes in behavior and health. I am also CPR certified in both dogs and cats, so your pets’ safety is always one of my top priorities. I have experience with many other animals as well, including guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, fish, etc. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, nervous and needs patience, or older and needs a little extra care, I’m comfortable adjusting to their individual needs. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away! I have school in the mornings and sometimes work in the afternoons, so I have flexibility throughout my week to provide pet care. I’m able to plan my schedule around your pet’s needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m especially available for walks, drop-ins, and care during the times I’m not in class or at work. I provide care in my clients’ homes, where I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintaining their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any other special needs. I’m respectful of your home and make sure your pets receive plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away.
About: We only take dogs up to 30lbs due to my daughter being afraid of most bigger dogs despite us having one of our own. We will give consideration to dogs over that weight if we feel it’s a good fit. We have recently begun boarding in our home again and have adopted a new goldendoodle Lincoln on 3/22/24. He will be about 60lbs once full grown He’s sweet and full of energy and loves to play with all dogs. I have had my own dogs for about 11 years and have also taken care of friends pets although usually in their own homes. “Alexandra has been very valuable for when I take vacation. She is very trustworthy and respectful to my home. She also takes the best pictures of my cat. I am very thankful for her services”
About: Hi there! I’m Jamie — a lifelong animal lover and proud dog owner of three. I’ve had multiple dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I treat every dog as part of my family. I can provide daily medication, as well as; have experience in administering fluid bags to my senior pup (RIP). Your fur family will be in loving hands while here. Over the years, I’ve babysat and cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, making sure each one felt safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners were away. I’ve also had the joy of fostering puppies for a local rescue, helping them grow, learn, and find their forever homes. Those experiences taught me patience, trust-building, and how to adapt to every dog’s unique personality. I work from home, which means your pup will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I start my mornings early, so breakfast, and playtime can begin before most people are even up! This routine allows me to keep dogs on a steady schedule (if required) — with lots of opportunities for cuddles, and check-ins all day long. If your pup requires crating, I have crates available for use. 🐶 What You Can Expect When your dog stays with me, they’ll get: • Plenty of love, cuddles, and playtime • Regular potty breaks, and backyard play • Consistent updates and photos (as needed), so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and safe • A calm, caring environment where your dog is treated just like my own Whether your dog loves playtime, or simply lounging nearby while I work, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. You’ll also get regular updates and photos, so you can rest easy knowing your furry friend is happy and cared for. Caring for dogs isn’t just a hobby — it’s a part of who I am. Being home full-time gives me the perfect chance to share that love and provide reliable, attentive care to others’ pets. Every dog I meet becomes part of my extended “fur family”, and I treat them like my own from the moment they arrive. I can’t rescue them all, but I can help others in this way. Simply put — I love dogs! Being around them brings me joy, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’m here to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Thank you for entrusting in me.
“Hello Amy !! I’m soooo happy he finally came out to play !! Txs for the pictures too !! BTW.. I forgot to mention that the trash can is on the far side of the garage but ur welcome to leave it just outside the laundry room door (ie in the garage) Many Thanks ;)”

“I reached out to Kassandra for drop in visits for my five cats while I went on a trip. I was a little nervous leaving them in a strangers care but when I met her for an initial visit I immediately knew they were in good hands. I got updates and pictures multiple times a day and even my scaredy cat came around her. She followed their usual routine to a T. Highly recommend!”

I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I focus on making both pets and owners feel safe, relaxed, and cared for from day one. I understand that every pet is unique, and I’m patient, attentive, and committed to creating a calm, positive environment where they feel secure and comfortable. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime, or simply wants extra affection and attention, I tailor my care to fit their individual routine and personality. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked — I make it a priority to give each animal personalized attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I’m also happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medication routines, and special care instructions to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel secure and loved while you’re away. About: I'm a dedicated and compassionate pet caregiver with experience caring for both large and small dogs ranging in age from 1 to 13 years old. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, preferences, and routine, and I take pride in providing attentive, individualized care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am highly detail-oriented and make it a priority to maintain your dog's regular schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, medications (if needed), and daily routines. Consistency is important for a dog's well-being, so I work hard to ensure they remain on their normal schedule while you're away. My goal is to create a positive, fun, and loving environment where your pup feels cared for and happy. Dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, cuddles, and physical activity, typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour of exercise per day, depending on their age, energy level, and needs. Before services begin, I prefer to meet both the dog and their family. This allows me to learn your pet's routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I also like to familiarize myself with the home, including the locations of emergency contacts, cleaning supplies, and other important items, so I can provide the safest and most seamless care possible. Communication is extremely important to me. I provide timely updates, regular photos, and detailed check-ins so you can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in caring hands. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while ensuring every dog receives the love, attention, and quality care they deserve. I am a full-time employee with flexible starting and closing hours. I work remotely once a week. Weekends are open as well. When I am presented with tasks, I make sure that all my responsibilities are taken care of. I allocate appropriate time to ensure client and self-satisfaction. When I put my mind to it, I complete my tasks to the best of my ability. I enter and exit the house the same way I arrived, always maintaining the client’s privacy and security. If I notice any damage or an emergency arises, I communicate immediately, offering opportunities for additional service and support. I treat the home as if it were my own, showing respect and care in every detail. I bring the same level of attention and compassion to the client’s pet, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am deeply caring, compassionate, tidy, and regimented in all that I do.
“Missy was so wonderful with my puppy Corbin! I had zero concerns leaving him in her hands. She was very communicative, followed directions, was respectful of my home, and was detailed in her updates. The photos she included in her updates were the highlight of my day! I could tell she really enjoyed her time with him and he was having fun and felt safe with her. Thank you so much, Missy!!!”

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

For over night stays, they will be secured in an extra large crate starting at 11pm-5am with potty breaks and soothing music for pets.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m incredibly impressed with Abby as a sitter! From the very first visit, she made sure my dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. The updates were top-notch every time, with the cutest photos and thoughtful notes that gave me total peace of mind. My dog absolutely lights up when Abby arrives, which says everything. She clearly cares so much and is amazing with pets of all personalities. Communication is quick and smooth, scheduling is easy, and she is always reliable and professional. If you’re looking for someone kind, trustworthy, and truly dedicated to caring for your fur babies, Abby is the perfect choice. Your pet will be in the best hands! 🐾❤️”

About: Danielle and I have had dogs our whole lives and absolutely love caring for them. We both grew up with dogs, so we’re very comfortable with their needs and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Danielle works a hybrid schedule, while I’m fully remote, so I’m home every day. We’re happy to work with your dog’s usual routine and schedule. We enjoy taking dogs on long walks in the morning and late afternoon, along with plenty of playtime throughout the day. We have a spacious 3-bedroom, first-floor apartment with plenty of room for a dog to feel comfortable. We also have a 1½-year-old son who loves animals, so your dog would be joining a loving family environment. We’re happy to accommodate dogs who need a little extra space or quiet time around our son. We usually walk around our neighborhood, but we also have a dog park in our apartment complex for extra exercise, socialization and play! Since I work from home, I’m with the dogs all day. Occasionally I go skateboarding in the afternoon for a couple hours, which is the longest the dogs would ever be home alone. We take Ori out twice a day and feed him in the morning and evening. Our home couldn’t be safer. Of course the door is always locked and we keep Ori on a leash the entire time that he’s outside. We make sure to keep any food or other things he shouldn’t get into off the floor and out of reach.

“Emily was such a great sitter for our 4 pups! She dropped in to visit them twice while we were away for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She’s incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of dog behavior, and patient with our somewhat anxious puppies. We would definitely use her services again.”

“Michelle was wonderful with my pup and kitties! This was my first time using Rover and I’m so happy I found Michelle. She set up a meet & greet in advance which really helped me feel comfortable with her coming into my home and taking care of my animals. She was great at communicating and meeting my needs, and sent pics and videos every visit. I couldn’t be happier and now I feel much better about future travel.”
“Andrea has done an incredible job at letting our shy pup go at his own pace. We also appreciate her excellent communication with us about how each visit has been going and in arranging schedules. Darwin is more and more excited each time she visits!!”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life! I like to roller skate with my dad’s dog, Bellevue. I think pets should be spoken to like they absolutely know what we are saying. I’m currently in NKY for an extended time for family matters and I am completely free to provide pet care to those who need it. I will give them love and adoration. They will be on leash, unless instructed otherwise… I think daily exercise is important for both human and pets alike.
About: Tons of pet experience from family, friends and personal pets with the ability to form close connections and love for each and every pet! I have had over 7 different types of pets in my life. Currently, I am a full-time online student earning my degree. I do occasionally pet and baby sitting! I am flexible and have availability weekly. I would love to keep your pets at their home in the environment they are familiar with. I do have a fenced in yard and a pup myself.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
