Pet care experience
CPR-Certified Pet Sitter
What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals is more than just a hobby for me it’s something I have professional experience with and truly love. I currently work at a dog and cat daycare facility, where I care for pets of all ages and personalities, including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs. I also have experience administering medications and providing extra care for senior pets and animals with special needs. I previously interned at a cat veterinary clinic for a year, which gave me valuable experience with cats and helped me learn how to recognize changes in behavior and health. I am also CPR certified in both dogs and cats, so your pets’ safety is always one of my top priorities. I have experience with many other animals as well, including guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, fish, etc. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, nervous and needs patience, or older and needs a little extra care, I’m comfortable adjusting to their individual needs. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away!

Ratings and reviews
Alexis has cared for my sister's dog while my sister was on vacation several times. She is always a calming presence for him, as he's an elderly dog with high anxiety. She stayed at their house and always made sure instructions were followed for his care, and always cleans up after herself. I would highly recommend Alexis to anyone who needs a pet sitter. She is trained in pet CPR. She is in college and hopes to become a veterinarian someday.

Schedule
I have school in the mornings and sometimes work in the afternoons, so I have flexibility throughout my week to provide pet care. I’m able to plan my schedule around your pet’s needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m especially available for walks, drop-ins, and care during the times I’m not in class or at work.
