About: There's never been a time in my life where I've lived without at least a couple of critters running around, from cats and dogs to crustaceans and weasels. Though I've never made a profit off of looking after others' pets, I've spent a fair amount of time fostering, mainly cats and dogs, and volunteering at my local animal shelter. As a result, I have a lot of experience caring for senior pets who may have medical needs or temperamental issues and younger pets who may need a bit of extra training or encouragement. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I'm no stranger to caring for them. The best part is that I love doing it! I'm currently enrolled in school 9-5PM Monday through Friday, but I'm free to immediately head anywhere I'm needed and willing to spend the night if necessary. On weekends I'm completely free and would be more than happy to stay overnight! My home is overlooked by three older cats and one who turned a year old in July. The youngest is always looking to find a new companion, but the others keep to themselves. We previously had a doberman, so we have a large backyard with no toxic plants and a stainless steel wire leash that allows exploration of the entire yard. Pets will be supervised at all times, and I'd be more than willing to make any accommodations to make sure you feel safe leaving your furry companion with me.

“Great job, great with my finiky dog”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. As an adult, I started giving homes to dogs with special needs. The first dog I had as an adult had a balance disorder (she walked with her head tilted to the side - it was so cute!) I spent a lot of time working with her on how to navigate her home, especially the stairs. The second dog I had as an adult was geriatric and eventually ended up getting diagnosed with cancer. I have experience with giving medicine orally and just generally taking things slow for dogs that need a bit more time. On the other end of the spectrum, I'm also an active individual. I enjoy being outside with my pets and going on long walks. NOTE: One of my cats was recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, and he requires special meals. I will need to go to my house 1-2 times per day during bookings that span over multiple days. I work around your pet’s schedule to determine when I stop at home, and can be back at your place for any overnight bookings. JUNE AND JULY AVAILABILITY: I work in a school, so during summer break I'm home all day every day. But seriously, pretty much any time in June or July, I can make it work. AUGUST THROUGH FEBRUARY AVAILABILITY: From early August until late February, I coach the girls and boys high school swim teams. My availability is very limited during those months, as I have practice in the evening and swim meets on the weekend. MARCH THROUGH MAY AVAILABILITY: I work full time, but can be available at night and on the weekends. If you are a returning client, please message me to inquire about dates, even if it says I am unavailable. My number one rule is "Love and compassion first." I never punish my pets. Instead, I try to understand the root cause of the undesired behavior - maybe they're sick, bored, or simply acting on a natural impulse. I try to set my pets up for success by creating an environment where they will thrive, be loved, stay safe, and live their life to the fullest. In terms of caring for pets in other people’s homes, I’m all about following established routines.

“Mikayla continues to amaze us! Her check in photos with our pups are the thing our coworkers and us look forward to the most in our day 😂 She is so wonderful and caring and we can tell how much our pups love her! Could not recommend her enough!”

“Sandina took good care of our two Weims and communicated very well with us; including pictures. Her multiple drop-in visits were done as expected, and she gave the doggies all the opportunities they needed to "do what they needed to do."”

About: I have experience caring for both energetic puppies who need structure and play, as well as senior dogs who need extra patience, medication reminders, and a gentle touch. I'm dependable, friendly, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for! Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I currently work part-time on Rover and work remotely. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I enjoy being active, and caring for pets fits perfectly into my lifestyle. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and affection. I follow their usual routines closely to help them feel comfortable and at ease. In a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to their pet’s feeding, walking, and care schedule. I give regular updates, photos, and always make sure the pet feels loved and well cared for, whether I'm there for a quick visit or an extended stay. I prefer to watch in my own home.

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life. I have owned dogs from a Bulldog all the way to a Great Dane. I have trained all my dogs and know dog behavior well. I can be adventures or a couch potato depending on your dogs needs. I am currently dog free so looking for some puppy love to fill my spare time with. Book with me! I currently work a full-time Monday - Friday job 8am-5pm. I do get the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule with the only set day in office as Tuesday. So overall have decent availability for a quick stop by or working from your residence during the day if needed. I strongly believe in leashed dogs when not in a fence. My current home environment it would be best if I came to your home due to lack of fencing and renting. No worries though I am more than willing to transport animals in my vehicle if needed to go on an adventure or a vet if something came about.

About: My family and I truly enjoy watching other family’s animals. It allows us to help families not worry about their pets when they are not able to take care of them. I’m a full time teacher, so I have quite a bit of flexibilities during the summer time. I am available to board during the school year as well. I am available after 3:30 to tend to animals during the school year. I have a fenced in back yard and take our own dog for a walk daily. We have one dog, 2 cats, and one hamster. They are all very friendly.

About: I have lived in a household with a dog for most of my life. My first dog was a German shorthaired pointer mix named Sheba. After that I had a Newfoundland named Monkey and a mixed breed medium pup named Lidoo. I love taking care of animals! I was in charge of taking my dogs for walks regularly. I love playing fetch and tug of war with them! I also enjoy dogs who are very large but think they are lap dogs. I give pets (mine and others) LOTS of love! Unfortunately, I do not currently have a dog and that is one of the reasons I want to walk and take care of other peoples pets! I am good with both large and small dogs and can provide rigorous exercise for them. I have also had cats all my life, so I am skilled in taking care of them as well. I hope you pick me to take care of your pets! I am currently going to college full time, however a lot of my classes are online. This allows me plenty of time to care for your pets! As I would be coming to your home to care for your fur baby, they will be in a comfortable and secure environment already and I will keep them free from harm 100% of the time.

About: I’ve taken care of my own animals as well as my friends for over 10 years. I currently have 6 pets of my own and have had over 11 in the past. I will clean, feed, and love your pets while you’re away! I currently work part time and attend college, but have a lot of free time during the week. I can stop over twice a day to ensure your pets are doing great! Although I’m not allowing clients pets into my home, I can ensure your pets are where they are supposed to be whether you want them in a crate or a certain area of the house. Their safety is my priority.

17. Allison F.
“Allison is an amazing pet sitter. I have her watch my animals when I go out of town on vacation. My dog and cat don’t get along so they need to stay separate. Allison is great at accommodating to both animals despite their extra needed care. Would recommend to all my friends and family.”

18. Julie G.
“Julie is a very kindhearted, animal loving, active person who would take wonderful care of your fur baby. I have known Julie for many years and she volunteers to help people in need whenever she can. I trust her wholeheartedly with my three kitties. Her only reason for becoming a pet caregiver is to help people in need, who find it difficult to travel or be away due to worry for their pets. Your pet would be in good hands with Julie.”
