“5 stars!! ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 💫 ⭐️ Jessica is amazing! She graciously dealt with our uncertain and hetic schedules. She went over and above, driving to my home to pick my dog up. Even when he was initially bashful/scared, she waited and took extra time. Gave him extra love and care, car rides, treats, and nap time together. I felt he was safe, content, and at ease while in Jessica’s home. We will definitely be hiring her again!!”

“Stacy welcomed my dog into her house and treated him as her own. Rudy loved playing and snuggling with her family! She communicated well and made sure she understood his needs. I will use Stacy again.”

“We were in a last minute situation because of work schedules where we needed a dog sitter asap. Laurie was nothing short of amazing. She treated our dogs like her own. Picking them up our dogs were so happy, and exhausted. Both the dogs clearly had fallen head over heels for Laurie! So glad we found her!”

“Rosie was happy when I picked her up. The next morning she was back to her usual self. With some other sitters, it can take one to three days for her to be back to her usual self. So just from that I’d say Alyssa did a nice job.”

About: I have an animal science degree and worked at a vet clinic. I’ve raised and trained my own dog and grew up with dogs my whole life. I watch my family members and friends dogs pretty regularly. I’m currently home during the day and have flexibility for home boarding or pop in visits to walk or let your dog out. I have one dog that gets along with other dogs as well as a cat that does well with dogs. I treat every pet like it’s my own. I have a lot more flexibility at my own home for dog watching but can accommodate house visits depending on what’s needed.
“Great communication! Sent pics and explanations of them. As a first time boarder, I had no real idea what to expect. Actually, I had a huge variety of things to fear lol. The daily photos and little update quips ("she loves the rocker by the window"), etc) salved my fretting immensely. Then, when I was involved in a horrible motor vehicle accident during the boarding, she was amazing with her willingness to aduust times ariubd her wirk schedule and when I could arrange transportation back home. This Rover provider is a 6 out of 5 star awesome-sauce experience. Don't pass her up!”

“Thomas & Emily are the best pet sitters ever. The love & attention given to Abbey was exceptional. Abbey loved playing with Monster & she was treated like their own which made it so much easier to be away. We loved the updates, photos & video. Meds were also given morning & night. We highly recommend Thomas & Emily. We will definitely use them again. Thank you both so much.”

About: I had a golden-lab for 6 years until we lost him to cancer earlier this year. My kiddos and I miss him a ton and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby until we are ready to get another dog of our own. I work fully from home so I have a lot of flexibility all week and any weekends we are home/available as well. I am confident your pet would have LOTS of love and attention! I have a nice fenced in yard and great neighborhood available for daily walks. We have a great safe space to care for your pet!

“Heather was the best ! Boarding Zoe with Heather & her family at their wonderful home was a perfect match for me (& Zoe!) Heather is very organized & prepared to deal with hosting a dog's individual behavior and adapting to their routine for the best results. Heather - having her own dog and another daycare dog to keep company & play with Zoe - was a perfect situation. She was very flexible with my drop-off & pick-up schedule which made all my travel arrangements "a breeze" with no worries. I couldn't be more pleased & recommend Heather without any hesitation. I hope my future travel plans will allow a repeat overnight for Zoe with Heather again !”

About: I’ve covered private care, dog walking, training, vet settings and grooming over the past 20 years. Currently I’m the lead groomer at a local doggie daycare specializing in behavioral rehabilitation. This means dogs in my care get folded into my pack and taken along for our day. We have a 1/3 of an acre to relax on and can reinforce training or loose leash pack walks during their stay. As I work with dogs full time, we can easily fold 1-2 dogs into our daily routine. Structured feed times, crate rotation, daily training and lots of playing in the yard are already a part of our day. Dogs can come to work with me if necessary where they will have yard access for potty breaks and a private area indoors, or stay home with my older girl who prefers the peace and quiet of sun bathing, and midday breaks for walks or time in the yard. We have a large home and yard to accommodate everyone, employ structured meal times and crate and rotate when necessary so everyone has 1-1 time at home.
About: My lifelong love of dogs has turned into an opportunity to help others by caring for your furry friends in my home. I ❤️ dogs! With my part-time schedule I have am able to spend plenty of time at home with furry friends of all sizes. I am flexible to care for dogs during the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in back yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have extra crates if that would be more convenient for you.

“Sarah was wonderful with Jake and Meme while we were away for a couple of days! She had great communication, kept us updated, and did a fantastic job picking up on their individual cues and personalities. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Thanks so much for taking such great care of them, Sarah! We really appreciate everything!”

“Erika was amazing with my dog! She kept me updated multiple times throughout the stay. Erika made sure I felt comfortable with my dog and where he would be staying. Definitely recommend her! You won’t regret it!”

“Chanse was fantastic. She took good care of our recently adopted dog. Our dog is very timid, but became comfortable there very quickly and seemed to be really happy. I highly recommend Chanse and her family to watch your loved pets.”

About: I have always loved animals and being around them as much as possible! I have a pittie, Nugget, & a chug, Pumpkin. They LOVE to play with other dogs, which is why I wanted to pet sit! I have a few years experience of fostering rescue dogs, so me & my pups are used to working with all different types of pups & we love them all 🥰 My calendar is set for days I'm off work, so I'll be home with your dog for most of the day. If I need to run any errands, I can certainly take your pup on a car ride with me if they enjoy those! If there are certain routines your pet needs to stick to, I can certainly stick to that schedule. I have a secure, fenced in yard that they can be out in for as long and as often as your pup would like. I have extra crates if your pup is comfortable with those. They are welcome on my furniture or in any of my extra dog beds. Let me know of anything that will help make them feel most at home!
About: I have a wealth of experience caring for dogs of all sizes while their parents were on vacation. I’m skilled in handling potty-trained puppies and have experience with special needs dogs, including those who are deaf or blind. Ensuring their comfort and well-being is my top priority. I love to keep pet parents updated with plenty of photos, whether I'm providing drop-in services or taking them for a walk. Although, I do not have boarding or house sitting not active if you reach out to me I can see if we can make something work. Additionally, I have experience with exotic birds and small mammals like hamsters and rats. Plus, as a proud cat mom, I understand the unique needs of our feline friends! As a dedicated dog walker and pet mom myself, my schedule is quite flexible as a server compared to the traditional 9-to-5. This allows me to easily adapt to your needs and ensure that your furry friend gets the bathroom breaks & love they deserve. My off-peak hours, especially during the winter months, give me even more time to devote to your pet, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they need! While I don't offer boarding in my home due to having a small child and four cats, I'm more than happy to accommodate pets that are friendly and comfortable with little ones. I invite any pet parents to set up a meet and greet to ensure a good fit. During their stay, pets are treated like family and are allowed on our couch and bed, enjoying a cozy, loving environment. When caring for pets in your home, I understand how important security and peace of mind are. I’m completely comfortable with having cameras inside for your reassurance, and I promise to respect your space by not bringing anyone else into your home—trust is key. With extensive experience in house sitting and dog sitting prior to joining Rover, I always take the time to go over your pet’s daily routine, ensuring they feel at ease. This way, you can enjoy your vacation with complete peace of mind! I also love sending updates and pictures everyday.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have a 7 year old golden named bode. I am familiar with medication distribution and other restrictions. Bode was diagnosed with lymphoma at 5 and has been in remission for 2 years. I grew up with labs as well as shitzus and my dad has a 9 year old golden. I would prefer to meet any candidate prior to boarding as they will be in the same space as my golden, he’s a gentle giant and gets along with all animals. He is a service animal so I have experience in training and younger dogs as well. I work from home full time and have a lot of free time to give during the week. Weekends are busy for me at the moment but will slow down come winter. I work from home so week days are great I have a lot of flexibility for walks and play time and potty breaks. Very attentive and will have my golden to play with. Big grass area to play at but no fence, live in a townhome with lots of toys. Since I work from home I’m very attentive and responsive.
About: I have had dogs all my life and in all stages of their lives; puppies to seniors. I currently am a Foster Parent for Fetch Wisconsin Rescue and have found it so very rewarding, I figured a part time opportunity to walk, play and take care of others furry family members would also be extremely rewarding, and the exercise would be beneficial too! My current job schedule is working from home from Monday - Friday from 6am to 3pm. I am free after those hours and on weekends. I would use the double leash method for dog walks, especially in the beginning when the pups do not know me. Then after the relationship is formed, I would leave it up to the owner to decide if they feel I should continue this method.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Lima Center is $45

As of November 2026, there are 213 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Lima Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Lima Center can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lima Center home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lima Center.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lima Center sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
