“Olivia did a great job with my two senior kitties. Even giving Albuteral puffs to one of them. She gave them love and made sure to follow all my directions. The pictures she sent were great too. I totally recommend her and will use her again!”

“Logan is always great with all 3 of our boys, and is always sure that all 3 of them get the attention they need while we're away. Even our youngest who is terrified of everyone and everything has warmed up to her! 10/10 would recommend booking her!”

About: I have grown up in a pet friendly household and taken care of my neighbors pets frequently. I love being around both cats and dogs! I am on summer break so I have a lot of free time! I have an internship that is very flexible and once a week (ending soon though) but other than that I currently do not have any other things that interfere with my schedule. I like to create an environment for pets where they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love giving them lots of toys and playing with them, but knowing when to give them space or let them nap. I also love taking them on long walks or just giving them lots of pets :)

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle older dogs, such as my own. I tailor my approach to each animal’s needs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient energy and attention to detail—I don’t just watch pets, I get to know them. I have experience with basic training reinforcement, senior pet care (including administering oral medications), and making nervous animals feel safe and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, structured playtime, or simply keeping a routine, I care for every pet like they’re my own. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. With no classes or school obligations right now, I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits—whatever fits your pet’s routine best. I love spending my summer surrounded by animals, and I’m fully committed to giving each pet the time and attention that they need. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every pet care situation. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all owner instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medication dosages—to ensure consistency and well-being. I always secure doors, windows, and any potential hazards to create a safe environment. As for staying in my home, I unfortunately cannot have other pets coming and staying with me, due to the amount of allergies in my household and my older dog that is living with me

About: I love animals, especially doggos! I grew up around dogs, and I have been house and dog/cat sitting since I was a teenager (20ish years). I will ensure your animals are cared for, comfortable, and loved! I primarily work remotely, which means I’m usually available during the day to check in, except when I’m staffing events at work. On weekends, I’m quite flexible and can easily check in with our fur babies as often as needed! Unfortunately, I can only provide care, sitting, and walking at your home. My apartment does not allow pets at this time, but I have a flexible schedule!

About: I am a nurse in Harrisonburg looking to cure my puppy fever with helping take care of your pups! I’ve had dogs my whole life, I’ve raised puppies and helped with elderly dogs as well. I currently have an 8 year old pomapoo that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks old, she loves other animals and would do great socializing with your dog if your dog would enjoy that! I also have a 20 month old daughter who is literally obsessed with dogs! I would love to come walk your dog or play fetch then cuddle up on the couch with them for a few while your awhile, I’ll make sure their water and food bowl is full before I leave. I also would love you keep your dog while you are away, I’d let them snuggle on the couch with me and make sure they have atleast one walk a day, leaving you stressful on your days away! I work fulltime as a nurse manager which is Monday-Friday 8a-4p so every weekend and evening I’m off. Normally I take my daughter on a 3 mile walk/run which any dog could join us in that! I have a pomapoo and a toddler who love some dog company. I prefer a dog to be crated while I’m out of the house, but while I’m home they can play all through my apartment and go on walks as frequently as needed.

“Kathleen did a great job with our shy cat who never comes out to see anyone. Within a few days, Riggs came out and actually let Kathleen touch him. We will definitely ask her again when we go out of town!!”

About: I have raised and trained my own Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd mixed dog as a wonderful and unforgettable companion. I would love to share my experience and care with your furry companion as well. I work from home so I am glad to offer pet assistance and services often. I can also work from a laptop or my phone so I’m glad to travel and serve as I can. My Alaskan Malamute is an inside/outside dog. He enjoys his time on my front lawn via a simple shock collar and has free roam within my home.

About: I’ve always had pets of all kinds, we’ve rescued many dogs from different situations- elderly, from the spca, special needs and I’ve adopted a few puppies. On top of that I’ve hat cats my whole life. I do gig work so that makes me very flexible; I’m open to unique situations and with little notice I can almost always make it work. I’m happy to play and care for your dog in your home, my goal is to provide the same environment for the least amount of disruption. I personally have had small to large dogs and capable of adjusting to preferences and needs.

“Shakira would be a great asset to the Rover community! I have always trusted her to walk and care for my pups when I would be out of town, and never had a worry about their wellbeing. She is very trustworthy, caring, and responsible person that I will continuously use to care for my pets.”

Kathleen C.

Daniel O.
“Whenever my family is out of town, Daniel is the one we rely on to take care of our cats. He does all of the basics well: refill the water, food, and scoop the cat litter. But Daniel also has gone above and beyond to meet our cats' unique needs. One cat has a moist food diet only; Daniel comes over multiple times a day to make sure he is fed. We have another cat with severe anxiety. Daniel comes over and spends time with the cats, helping especially the anxious one settle while we are away. Highly recommend.”
