About: I have taken care of pets for many years now for relatives, neighbors, and friends. It is something I enjoy to do when my schedule is open enough to do so! I am providing stop in, walking, day to day, and overnight care for pets. This includes regular activities like walking, playing, potty, feeding, car rides, cuddles, all included in the set price. I can also bathe the pets for an additional fee. I currently work full time my work day is typically split in half. Giving me the perfect timestamps throughout the day to check in on the pets. I work only in the Harrisonburg area so I am all around town. I am a local to Harrisonburg and know all the dog-friendly spots! Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I have always had pets until college, I am use to fixing my schedule around them, as pets are like children. I work short shifts where I drive to different clients all day, giving me many breaks throughout the day to spend time with the pets! I am a very neat and righty person. As I work with elderly patients, I am not afraid of bacteria or most things! I believe I am trustworthy for pet sitting as I have extensive experience in caring for humans.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats and chickens since I was 16. Back at home I dog, cat, and house sat for neighbors and friends. I have always been given great feedback and I love animals! I'm currently an undergraduate student at JMU! I have an extremely flexible schedule and will easily be able to take care of your pets! I am free 7 days a week although there are certain times that I do have class which we can discuss! I have 1 dog and 1 indoor cat at home! About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up, from all sizes and ages. I currently have an 80 lb German Shepard-Lab-retriever mix, and a 4 week old kitten. I’ve had adult cats, puppies, and fostered. I am currently not working and on summer break before I go back to college at the end of the month so I have lots of free time! About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.
About: I grew up with dogs and have experience caring for small and medium-sized dogs for family and friends. I love going on walks, playing fetch, and keeping pups happy and active, but I’m also happy to relax at home with lower-energy pets who prefer a quieter day. About: I’m an animal lover of all kinds! Neighbors and friends have trusted me with their fur babies from a simple walk, to feeding and loving on them while they’re away. I am a full time student and work part time as well. I will be taking requests on days off and the weekend to ensure your pets have my full attention. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
