About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. About: Grew up with animals including lizards, cats, dogs, birds and horses. Volunteered in animal shelters doing all care of cats and dogs! I love all animals. I currently work for an Equestrian Center where I help care for over 30 horses. I have two part time jobs, but I only work in the evenings and am available for the rest of the day! I’ll do my best to work around any schedule I have five cats currently who are the most spoiled animals, they get lick mats, vitamins, and all sorts of other fun enrichment. They are also some of the kindest cat you will ever meet! I would extend this love for my cats to your animal offering homemade or organic treats (if allowed!) I also have a dog and several reptiles who are beyond loved!

About: Leave your pets with someone who makes them feel like you never left them. I will treat your babies like my own. They will not go a second without feeling they’re loved and cared for. I have a full time job besides this. It’s a 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. I also have a part time job. You will know my schedule when we talk to see if it will be a good fit! Eventually I wanna do this as much as I can. So once I get frequent accounts I will be dropping my part time job and go from there! Taking care of someone else’s pets is a privilege. Yes, I am getting paid but I also take your trust in me taking care of your babies seriously. I will do as told and not do anything you wouldn’t approve of.
