About: Hi! I’m Ashley — a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, ferrets, and more. I’ve worked in a veterinary office and previously ran my own daycare, so I’m confident handling pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I have experience with large and strong dogs, high-energy and working breeds, and multi-pet households. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple species, including exotics, and have a strong understanding of animal behavior and safety. About: Leave your pets with someone who makes them feel like you never left them. I will treat your babies like my own. They will not go a second without feeling they’re loved and cared for. I have a full time job besides this. It’s a 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. I also have a part time job. You will know my schedule when we talk to see if it will be a good fit! Eventually I wanna do this as much as I can. So once I get frequent accounts I will be dropping my part time job and go from there! Taking care of someone else’s pets is a privilege. Yes, I am getting paid but I also take your trust in me taking care of your babies seriously. I will do as told and not do anything you wouldn’t approve of. About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. I am able to be intuitive and approach every animal with the care and attention that is specific to their needs. I am sensitive to boundaries and always making sure to focus on listening to what they are communicating.

About: I've always loved animals, particularly dogs. Animals respond well to me, and I have cared for many over the years. I treat every animal as if they are my own! Ever met that person who just randomly pulls over on the street to say hi to your pup? THAT'S ME! I work full time in the healthcare field, but can often modify my schedule. I routinely travel between Oakland and Gardiner ME for work, so traveling is not an issue. I like to be on the go! I also work part time with Animal Control in Sidney. Due to my other commitments, I do require that all of my furry clients be able to be left alone for at least 8 hours. Exceptions can be made for clients in my immediate vicinity, or if my schedule allows. Your wish is my command! Whatever you need simply ask! Whatever I can do to ease your mind and comfort your pet in your absence, i will do!

About: Animals have always been my passion, I work as a Veterinary Technician in Waterville full time caring for people’s beloved pets. From kittens to farm animals and everything in between. I have experience with all types of breeds, and temperaments. I look forward to meeting your pet! I work a full time job, Monday-Thursday. I have availability most weekends and evenings. I can be very flexible and available during lunch hour 12-1 as well. I own a home in quiet Clinton Maine, with my three friendly dogs, and two cats. About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. About: Iv been raising newborn kittens and fish my entire life. I grew up with big dogs too! Past co-workers would often say I have a funny personality and a calm demeanor. My attention to detail is my strongest skill. I have done volunteer work for camp sunshine, the animal refugees, and we run a youth group called Gaming for Christ. Im an artsy person; im in college for horticulture and I hope to work as an agricultural specialist. Veterinary assistant experience from York County Community College. About: I raised my own herd of dairy goats starting when I was 11 years old. I have been working with dogs since I was 16, I worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years and I now work at a shelter. I have loved all sorts of animals from a very young age. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs that required specific medical care (diabetes etc.) I am always willing to learn the proper care for your pet. I currently work full time, but I will gladly stop by after work to give some love to your furry friends. Evenings typically work best! All of the animals in my home are very well cared for, up to date on all vaccines, and very happy. I have a variety of animals including reptiles.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I love all sorts of pets. I have taken care of puppies and kittens all the way to senior animals. About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
