About: I have been caring for pets, both my own and for others for over 30 years! I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and am able to administer medication and take extra special care of your sweet fur babies. I live with my 16 year old son and our Beagle, Nora, Silver Lab, Bowdoin, and our 2 cats, Pants and Boston. We promise to treat your pets just like we would treat our own, and shower them with lots of love and affection. I do work a full-time job as a social worker however my position allows an incredible amount of flexibility in my schedule. Your pet won't be home alone for very long as I am available to do check ins and bathroom breaks every 2 to 4 hours. Some days I am able to work from home and would be there all day. I do have a large crate at my house for dogs who feel more comfortable in one while no one is home. But also have a free-range policy where dogs are welcome to come and go as they please throughout the house as long as they are safe and comfortable. I have a very large fenced yard and live on a quiet, dead end road which is perfect for walks. There are also many walking trails nearby that we frequent often. I also have plenty of space inside my home to keep your pets separate from mine if need be.

About: Hello! I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for a little over 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life growing up and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood. I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. We use a written questionnaire covering your pet’s routine, personality, health, and quirks, along with home access, expectations, and emergency plans. We want to understand your pet holistically, so they get the seamless care and love they need. We then use this as our guide when they are in our care. We carry professional pet care liability insurance covering pet sitting, dog walking, and house sitting. That includes animal bailee (pet protection) coverage, which goes beyond what a standard liability policy usually covers. Our policy also includes veterinary reimbursement, so if your pet needs urgent care during a visit, we can get them to the vet right away. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
