About: I have been caring for pets, both my own and for others for over 25 years! I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and am able to administer medication and take extra special care of your sweet fur babies. I live with my 16 year old son and our Beagle, Nora, Silver Lab, Bowdoin, and our 2 cats, Pants and Boston. We promise to treat your pets just like we would treat our own, and shower them with lots of love and affection. I do work a full-time job as a social worker however my position allows an incredible amount of flexibility in my schedule. Your pet won't be home alone for very long as I am available to do check ins and bathroom breaks every 2 to 4 hours. Some days I am able to work from home and would be there all day. I do have a large crate at my house for dogs who feel more comfortable in one while no one is home. But also have a free-range policy where dogs are welcome to come and go as they please throughout the house as long as they are safe and comfortable. I have a very large yard that is not fenced, however I do have a run setup. I also live on a quiet country road which is perfect for walks. There are also many walking trails nearby that we frequent often. I do have 2 outdoor cats who don't spend much time in the house.

About: I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to rest. I have help from a trustworthy teen and, at present, incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members! I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks in the woods throughout the day are the norm. During longer stays, I am am happy to take your dog on a hike in one of the nearby preserves. I have two very friendly dogs who would love some company! Note, I do have a twin daybed in my room that boarders are welcome to sleep on, or there is a spare room if they prefer a private space.
About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: Hello! I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for a little over 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life growing up and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and I typically volunteer once or twice a month at the animal shelter to care for the animals there. I’m also an avid hiker and love to take the dogs out with me so that they can get some outside time in the beautiful parks or trails around the area. As I work part-time, I have plenty of time to take care of animals during the weekday and weekend. From Tuesdays through Fridays, I’m typically available in the mornings before 10:30am and early evenings after 3pm. Saturdays through Mondays are my days off. I have an un-fenced yard and two other dogs in the home to keep your baby company. Both dogs are fixed and up to date on all shots. I personally have 3 very spoiled cats of my own who are also dog-friendly and up to date on all shots. Should you require your dogs to be crated during the night, that’s easily handled.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
