About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. About: Growing up my home was filled with animals, we had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish and hamsters. As an adult my life is quite similar. It is important to me that my children be raised around animals to learn to love and respect all life! I’m a stay at home wife and mother. My schedule is very flexible. As well as a 4 year old boy and 4 month old boy and 2 tween girls who all love animals. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.

This is my full-time commitment and passion. My background includes Grooming, Training, Seminar’s in dog behavior, pet CPR and first aid, and running a large boarding and grooming facility. I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.
About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.
About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

He has special dietary requirements as he has colitis and Elizabeth fed him exactly as needed and he came home healthy and happy as could be. About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot!
