1. Tracy E.

“Tracy is the best of the best! Made my vacation stress-free knowing my dog was going to be so cared for while I was gone. Can’t recommend Tracy enough, he is a super hero!”

2. Edmy N.

“Needed a sitter for our pups on short notice and thankfully they were available. Our pups enjoys seeing them and I feel much better knowing they are taking care of her while we are out. They are very sweet but also very professional and I appreciate that! Thank you again!”

3. Charity S.

“Charity took great care of everyone so we could get out of town a few days. Everyone looks cared for, they all got some extra love while we had fun!”

4. Karisa E.
“Karisa E. is amazing in every way. I’m so thrilled that I booked her for drop-in visits for our two cats while we were on vacation for twelve days in Maui. Although I had been happy with other cat sitters that I’ve worked with on Rover, I decided to give Karisa a chance, because she was more affordable. Boy, am I so glad that I did. Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

5. Jennifer T.

“Jennifer T. is an Angel in disguise. My cat loves her, she was always on time (even in bad snowy weather), and she took all the stress and worry away when I was gone. Jen will be my #1 pet sitter from now on!”

6. Paris S.

“Paris is an OUTSTANDING kitty sitter!! My boys hated being boarded so I looked towards Rover for a sitter. Her updates were detailed and sweet and she even observed what they liked and needed and adjusted accordingly. I could tell my boys were happy because they happily were coming to her and getting attention. She treated my home and requests with such respect and I am so thankful for her dedication. I will definitely be asking Paris to watch my boys in the future!! If you need a sitter who loves the animals she cares for and wants to make sure you have the best peace of mind I could recommend nobody better!”

7. Linda B.

“Consistently excellent. I don't want to flood Linda's reviews with a bunch from me, but she just does SUCH A GREAT JOB. Always does right by our pups, there when we need her, goes the extra mile. Just a lovely, helpful person.”

8. Angie B.

“I can not say enough good things about Angie and how much she has aided in mine and my dogs life! Very willing to work with my crazy schedule and seeing my pup multiple times a day multiple days a week. She has cleaned up my dogs vomit and diarrhea, she fought off a Rottweiler to protect my dog which was so above and beyond her call of duty lol. Although I only saw Angie face to face a few times, she had such a positive impact on my life and brought me so much joy with all of the wonderful pictures she sent me of my goofy girl while I was at work. Her and her pup Wrigley hold a special place in our heart ?”

9. Tonie B.

“Highly recommend! Upon reading the report card from Tonie, a comment was made from another dog owner, "Wow, you got a good rover." I was so nervous leaving my dogs, especially my ailing senior. When my normal dogsitter cancelled last minute, I was very hesitant having a stranger watch my dogs. Tonie did a great job. I actually prefer her over my other sitters.”

10. Bree B.

“Bree went above and beyond when we had an emergency on our vacation far from home. Recommend her heartily (make sure to leave a nice tip if she has to climb through your window).”

11. Laura U.

“Laura was great. Took care of our two dogs on short notice, communicated very well including pictures, and had a wonderful attitude. Very pleased.”

12. Stephanie M.
“Stephanie has been a pet owner for many years. She loves ALL animals! She has a very calm nature and lights up at the sight of any fur baby! She is a kind and compassionate human being and would be excellent with fur babies.”

13. Barbara S.

“Barbara was doing recurrent drop in visits for both of my dogs 2x a week for a few months and she went above and beyond to ensure that both of my dogs were cared for. Not only did she fulfill their basic needs, but she also went the extra mile to engage in some playtime. Barbara was communicative and punctual! I highly recommend her services!”

14. Emily M.

“I will happily be going back to Emily again to watch my dog! I ended up needing someone to watch my German Shepherd puppy for 3 weeks while I made an emergency trip to Indy to help care for my sick mother. I was very worried leaving my new puppy with a stranger but she was highly recommended by a friend. Emily was great on taking care of Bear like he was apart of her family. He was also only 9 weeks old and not potty trained at the time I dropped him off with her but she managed to have him trained within two weeks to ring a bell and let us know when he needed to go out!! I was very impressed, I also loved the daily updates of pictures and even allowing me to video chat with Bear. I felt very happy with my decision to leave him in her care and could not thank her enough!”

15. Nicolle M.
About: Since I was born, I’ve been around dogs, cats, reptiles, and even birds! I grew up with my parents breeding Rottweilers and pit-bulls, so I have experience with dogs that are considered to be “aggressive” in others’ eyes. I have been the primary trainer and caretaker for every pet I’ve owned since I was a child. I have a very maternal nature with animals. I currently have 2 dogs (Shiba Inu and Chihuahua) as well as 3 cats (one being a rescue kitten). My partner has also been fostering all types of animals for about 5 years. I have no biases when it comes to animals. They are all deserving of love and care, and I am dedicated to giving your fur baby the best care so that they never feel lonely away from you. I am currently not working, so now I am extremely flexible! Caring for animals is something I would like to dedicate all my time to. All of my animals are properly socialized and get along with every animal they come into contact with, if you would like your animal(s) to be socialized, I have no problem bringing them around my animals. If keeping them separated is something you prefer, I have space for them and a fenced in backyard for them to run around in safely. I also have a very keen attention to detail so I will make sure that your pet gets all the medications or attention that it needs to be happy and healthy!

16. Ella W.
“Ella is a huge animal lover. She has a high energetic and happy goldendoodle. I have had her watch my two dogs plenty of times!”

17. Abigail S.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Abigail as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She has cared for my two dogs multiple times while I’ve been out of town, and I’ve always been impressed by her attentiveness, reliability, & response time when checking in with me or my husband. Abigail takes the time to understand and accommodate their specific needs, including managing their allergies, and always follows my instructions to a tee. My dogs adore her, and it’s clear she genuinely loves and understands animals. With Abigail, I know my pets are in the best hands.”

18. Carissa C.

“10 stars! Carissa was awesome! She took GREAT care of our 2 dogs for three days so we could go out of town with no worries. Dogs were very happy and content upon our return- Carissa sends updates & photos and even brought in the Fed Ex boxes sitting on our front porch. A++”

19. Alexis P.
About: Growing up I cared for a lab, Shar Pei, Boxer, Yorkie, and Jack Russell. I have decided to join Rover because in December I dog sat for 2 dogs for a week and when they went home I felt like a little piece of me was missing. I work 7 hours a day M-F. I have full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. M-F you can expect me to be away from my home from about 7:15am until 2:30pm. I am always able to take a quick lunch midday and run home to check on your fur baby. I have a nice sized fenced in back yard. The fence is a standard height chain link fence. Dog(s) will be crated inside while I am at work and again at bedtime. I usually am asleep from 9pm until 5:30am. Your fur baby will be allowed on the couch and encouraged to give snuggles. I do have 3 cats that generally keep to themselves. However they do have a bedroom they can be secluded to if it were to be an issue.

20. Rachel S.
About: I have had dogs my entire childhood. Once I was able to, I got my own dog & she is my baby! We had a bad experience with a sitter & now I am determined to give other dogs the best, most loving, “home away from home” experience I possibly can. I work full time (8-4) M-F but am able to leave work to let your furbaby go potty if needed! I live in the perfect neighborhood for walks & squirrel chasing! My pup is my whole world & I strive to make every dog I watch feel just as loved as my own. Multiple walks a day, plenty of toys, and lots of snacks(if their diet allows)!
