“Tonie was amazing! Super nice and very flexible! It really made me feel better knowing she could help me get my pup out for some exercise and socializing while I was at work!! I would definitely ask her to help out again!”

“Jennifer is considerate and professional, which I appreciate, and she is caring and trustworthy in ways my cats, even the shy ones, recognize. I really appreciate that! I highly recommend Jennifer.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays (10am-6pm) and Fridays(2pm-7pm) and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. I treat the animals as if they were my own. Play with them inside and outside when weather permits. I enjoy cuddling with them and enjoying their company.

“Super thankful Tara was able to help out kind of last minute! Would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help looking after their pets. Great communication and she send pictures during her visit. Will definetly book Tara again.”

About: I love caring for animals, but travel enough to where I know I can’t have my own anymore. I watch my grand-dogs and I just have a blast with it. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life until now and have some love to give to your cute pet! I’ve had dogs ranging in sizes from a dachshund to a pure bred mastiff. I am almost always at home, so I can provide constant care and play time during the day. I am proficient is giving medications as well. (Even to the stubborn ones!) I take plenty of pictures and share lots of updates, so you won’t need to worry while you’re away. I look forward to giving your pet all of the love and special attention that it deserves! I spend the majority of my time at home so I have plenty of time to spoil your pet. When I do need to leave it’s not more than an hour or two. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet the needs of your pet. I live in an apartment and there is a walking trail right outside my door.
“I couldn't be happier with how they looked after my boys! I have a cat and a German Shepherd, and they are VERY different personality wise. They seemed to immediately pick up on that, and treated them accordingly! I'll definitely ask them to watch my boys again!”

About: Dogs have had a tremendous impact on my life; I’ve trained & owned dogs for the last 20 years. Currently I own a Yorkie mix named Mayhem who loves motorcycle rides & fetch! Over the years I’ve helped strangers & friends with training & general care of their fuzzy babes. Pitbulls, labs, poodles, dobermans, tiny terrors & more. I try to add structured fun & exercise to any dog I encounter, paying attention to the dog’s personality & confidence level. A tired pooch is a happy pooch. I currently work nights, so I am flexible during the weekdays before 4pm to help let your dog have fresh air while you’re at work! And for nightshifters, I can let your dog out late in the evening because I naturally stay awake until approximately midnight to 2am. My true availability (I’m unable to modify the calendar to reflect this) is Monday & Tues available all day/night, Wednesday & Thursday between 7:45am to 4pm, Fridays before 2:30pm, and Saturday & Sundays I’m generally unavailable but open to requests on a weekly basis (especially if we have an established relationship). I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. I’m especially good for dogs which need a physical outlet seeing as I lead an active lifestyle with lots of running, walking, bike riding, hiking, etc.
“Thanks Emily and happy to schedule you again when I have to leave Zeus and Dora at home while I travel. You did a wonderful job checking in on them while I was traveling.”

“Tracy did an amazing job! We always came home to a happy pup, and the pictures and updates throughout the day put our minds at ease. We definitely cannot thank or recommend Tracy enough!!”

“Mariah was awesome! Super communicative and friendly. It was such a relief knowing my lil babies were being taken care of while I was across the country in the mountains. 10/10 would work with her again!”

“Hannah is the absolute best! She communicates well and goes above and beyond to take great care of my dog every time. I can tell she truly loves Bella! We are always so grateful to have Hannah watch her!”

“Charity was incredible!! Very professional and caring. I have a very rambunctious 10 month old Newfoundland that she handled with patience and care. She regularly sent pictures and updates to me. I would recommend her 1000%. She put my mind at ease while I was away on vacation!!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experienced every stage of life. Whether you’ve had your dog for 10 weeks or 10 years, I’m confident I will be able to give the best care they deserve! I currently work full time, so my availability is 6am-8am and 7pm-10pm on the weekdays. I’d love to start my morning or end my day taking care of your dog! I’m not available Thursday evenings, certain Saturdays due to work schedule, and Sundays. I’ll make sure to update my availability as soon as know of upcoming events! We have always crated our dogs in the past so I am very familiar with crating and the safe space a crate can provide for a dog. When it comes to walking dogs, I believe in giving them the freedom to explore around them (sniff the ground, watch a squirrel, etc) while still remaining in control of the walk. I also make sure to stay aware of my surroundings to ensure there are no cars coming, children running by, or things blocking the path for us to continue our walk.

About: I've been helping out families I know with dog and cat sitting since 2020 and am ready to do it in a more formal way. ——- Here's the story: my behaviorally-complex bestie turned me into a dog trainer, and now my day job is helping other families like mine. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP). ——- I like to take things slow when I meet a new pet, unless they're not into that kind of thing and would rather go straight to sharing our personal space. I can take a hint...because I've spent time learning body language! ——— I believe in meeting an individual's needs based on their responses to activities. We can find all kinds of projects to fulfill your pet's physical, mental, and emotional needs. Enrichment is the key! ——- I also have lots of experience caring for reptiles and amphibians, and I share my home with two snakes. 🐍 I work full-time from home, and have a flexible work schedule. This makes it easier to fit caring for folks' pets in the comfort of their own home into my schedule. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, the comfort of the pet in front of me is my #1 concern. I want to meet your pets before I drop in, so let's set up a meet and greet! ----- I love engaging pets with mentally stimulating activities that allow the expression of their natural behaviors. Since I build enrichment plans for pets for a living, I tend to find creative ways to incorporate what is available to help pets use their bodies and brains to have a good time.
“Our dogs are like our kids so for someone to come in and understand that is so amazing. Wes was very accommodating and put our minds at ease knowing our babies were taken care of with top tier care!”

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, fish, and even the occasional bunny. Because of this, I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. I have experience walking energetic dogs, caring for playful puppies, and making sure senior pets feel safe and comfortable. My background helps me tune in to each pet’s unique routine and give them the same love and attention they’d get from you. I currently work full-time, but I have some flexibility during the week with enough notice. I hope to be working from home full-time soon, which will allow me to be home more often and more readily available to help care for your fur babies during special events, last-minute trips, or whenever you need an extra hand! As of right now, I have a domestic long-haired cat and a puppy who is a Mastiff-Pit mix. I’ve had my cat, Garrett, since he was born and my puppy, Storm, since April of this year. They are getting along much better now, although Garrett will occasionally swat at Storm when he gets a little too playful—there have never been any fights between them. Storm is very sweet, social, and full of energy, and he loves playing with other dogs. I also have extra rooms available to give visiting dogs their own space when they need a break, some quiet time, or simply a little room to themselves.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Centerhurst
Katie has been absolutely amazing with Lyla! She is very considerate with my instructions, and cares deeply for my fur baby. I have always felt comfortable knowing that Katie will take great care of Lyla when I’m busy at work. She has incredible communication skills and goes above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone! Leaving your pet in the care of another can be scary, but Katie puts me at ease knowing Lyla is being loved like her own.

Karisa took care of my 3 cats while I was away and was responsible with giving me updates and pictures about them. She played with them and made sure they always had food and water. She also cleaned up some of the litter mess my cats made which was appreciated. I 100% would book with Karisa again!
