6. Alexis R.
About: Hi! My name is Alexis, I am 27 years old, and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up I helped my dad with training his rabbit dogs and attending to their needs while he was at work or etc. I am born and raised in Amherst, VA. I own my own townhouse in Madison Heights. Although, the area is not fenced in there is a nice big yard for your fur-baby to get plenty of exercise and exposure to the sun and fresh air!! There is sidewalks in the neighborhood that makes it easy for taking walks. I am here to care for your fur-baby as you would. I will pet, feed, walk, play, brush attend to your fur-baby's needs. You and your fur-baby will be happy with my services. I do work 40 hours a week from home which allows me to have more time at home to attend to your fur-baby. Your dog/cat will be able to roam freely in the house unless otherwise requested. I do not work weekends, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can easily crate your dog as needed. All dogs are walked on leashes when we go for walks. I respect your wishes in my home and your home.
7. Sara M.
About: I work at a local animal hospital 4 days of the week. I spend my time off with my 2 dogs, 3 cats, and husband. I have an 12 yr old cairn terrier and a 3 yr old Australian cattle dog. I have experience with a wide variety of dog personalities and understand a cat. I worked at a pet resort in the past and ran the dog day care program for 2 years with a partner. Grew this program by 70 percent. Taking care of 40 dogs on an average day. I’d like to spend time doing more of what I enjoy, which is spending time with and caring for animals. I currently have one availability. I can give any medications your pet may need. If they need to go to the vet I can take them. Need a nail trim? Haircut? I can take them.

11. David & April B.
About: We have both always owned and cared for both dogs and cats from childhood. Take a look at our picture gallery and see all the wonderful pups we have taken care of so far. All unique and different in their own way yet all always felt comfortable and right at home. We currently have Cooper our GoldenDoodle and Bella our Tortoise Shell kitty. Both are great with each other and other animals and would love to have more playmates. Cooper is a loving pup who loves to have other dogs to play with and has been absolutely fantastic with every pup we’ve watched. Bella is either roaming around outside or asleep on the couch. If anybody needs a loving home to watch your pup and don’t mind them having a loving playmate then we are your choice! April works from home so somebody is always here to keep an eye on your pup. We take them out for bathroom breaks and walks regularly. We have 3 different sized crates to keep them in and seperate if needed during daily errands or overnight if that is what they are accustomed too. We have an extra large dog bed for sleeping and lots of toys to keep them entertained. We give treats for good behavior or bathroom breaks if allowed. Pictures and videos will come daily of your pup and notes to keep you informed how they are doing and settling in. Our GoldenDoodle has been professionally trained and follows numerous commands. Extremely well behaved and gets along with all breeds of pups. We live in a very well known neighborhood with trusting neighbors.

15. Alyssa F.
About: I grew up taking care of my dog, a chocolate lab. I helped train my cousins dogs to do tricks and follow an owner's lead. I love animals and how they interact with their people. I have cared for bunnies, so different animals are fine with me! I'm currently a full-time student, so other than classes my schedule is relatively flexible. The break from studying to play with pups or cats is highly appreciated! I love to pet and play with animals, so energetic pups are no problem. I am also content sitting with a sassy cat or older dog who prefers care from a distance.
16. Angel B.
“Angel took great care of my boy! He came back exhausted, happy, and well cared for.”
17. Katelyn G.
“Katelyn loves animals. I remember her saying when I get my own place I will have a horse, but then it changed to a dog. She is very passionate about pets and how they are treated. I believe she would love and care for a pet in her charge as if was her own!”
18. Kaylee M.

19. Nicole K.
“My pup was so tired he slept all the way home! We had a great day, worry free, enjoying the Virginia Scenic Railroad, and Teddy got to play with three new friends. Nicole was kind and attentive, and a real pleasure to be around. Recommend absolutely!”
20. Brian R.
“Brian Reisz’s Happy Hound K9 Social Club is one of the best boarding places I’ve used for my dogs. We are very particular who watches our pups. Our pups loved them and when we went to pick them up they were so tired which I LOVED!! They also kept us updated everyday with how are pups were doing and even sent some photos! They were also very flexible when we could drop and pickup our pups which was very helpful for us! I would recommend Happy Hound K9 Social Club to anyone who needs to board their dogs! - Kaitlyn C”
