About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. If at all possible I prefer boarding as transitions can be a challenge but I’m usually up for anything the pet needs to feel safe and secure and do a lot of house sitting, too and am more than willing too. I try to keep all homes clean and tidy for the owner’s return. My own home is small, only two usable rooms, but has a large wooded yard and perfect spots for beautiful walks, or throwing a ball and playing fetch in our secluded field if the dog is not an eloper. My dog loved living in this home before he passed as it is quiet and peaceful, and playing ball was his favorite thing in the world. Hit me up if you need some help, as I’m quite passionate about this work and want to be of service. :) ✨ When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. I always appreciate a crate just in case but that doesn’t mean I’ll use it. My home is small so if your dog is a big chewer it might not be the perfect fit for boarding unless a crate is available. I’m home almost all day and can monitor animals closely and give plenty of love. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.
About: I have taken care of our elderly farm dogs for 2 years and a rambunctious new pup this year who has lots of energy! I have also helped my mom take care of her cats since I was 18. I am currently between jobs so this is perfect . I’m a very active person, I love walking and grounding in nature. It would be great to have some company on these walks! I can bring my laptop and be there beyond a standard drop-in. I love getting outside for longer walks (3-4 miles) but I'm just as happy to do shorter walks to help your pup burn off some energy. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times. Before our first visit, I like to learn about any triggers, behaviors, or how they do with other dogs so I can tailor care to keep them calm and comfortable. I also check with you before giving treats and make sure I'm aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Most visits will take place in your home for your pet's comfort. However, if you ever prefer occasional care at my home, I have a fenced-in backyard and a Jeep for safe transport. You can always feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with consistency, attention, and genuine love every time I'm with them.

I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
