About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide maximum companionship and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get 2-3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths off my backyard. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. I currently have a one-year-old miniature dachshund and a 10-year-old cat, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and sticking to whatever routine your pet is used to. I’m patient with shy or nervous animals and will make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I am available on weekday evenings (5-9pm)/early mornings (5-6:30 am) and 100% available on weekends. I am open to discussing other options as well! I pay attention to things like secure doors, leashes on walks, and making sure pets aren’t getting into anything they shouldn’t. I strive to become a familiar face for each pet so they are as happy and comfortable as possible and so each owner has a reliable and trustworthy source for any needs they may have for their pet. I work from home with my own schedule so I am extremely flexible in accommodating your pets needs and last minute requests to make your life easier! I take care of your pets like they are my own! I have pretty much done it all, and am happy to do it. I am very particular about who cared for my pets when I am away, and will treat yours with nothing less than I would expect for my own. I want them to be as comfortable as possible like you’re not even gone! Familiarity, comfortability, for pets and their owners is key.

About: I love all animals! I don’t have any because of my housing rules so I want to take care of your fur babies to get my animal fix! I am extremely flexible and caring. I take instructions well and am a fast learner. I am very observant, I will care for your home and pet like it was my own. I am also skilled in American Sign Language, as I am hard of hearing, and can teach your pet to respond to signs. I am also quick to respond with text in case of emergencies. I especially love puppies and kittens and am willing to clean up any messes. I am flexible on long term stay rates if you go on several day vacations. Thank you!
