About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. I would be open to set a meeting with you and your pet before house sitting or check-in dates to discuss schedules and specifics as well as to meet your pet. About: My family and friends have entrusted me to take care of their pets many times these last few years. The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am currently working part-time on the weekends so my week is normally pretty free. Since I am an incoming college student, I have some commitments throughout the summer, but have no problem talking about those with clients! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know it can be a stressful time for them while your gone, so I hope to be a calming presence where they can relax and have fun!
