I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. About: As the go-to person for friends in need of dog-sitting, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am currently working part-time on the weekends so my week is normally pretty free. Since I am an incoming college student, I have some commitments throughout the summer, but have no problem talking about those with clients! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know it can be a stressful time for them while your gone, so I hope to be a calming presence where they can relax and have fun!

About: Hi I’m rylyn. I’ve been a huge animal lover for as long as I can remember and have a huge passion for caring for pets. I’ve dogsat for multiple neighbors, friends, and families dogs before. I used to volunteer at petco adoption events and volunteered at a horse boarding facility. I work part time and go to college. I take online courses and have a very flexible work schedule. Im usually only working 3 days out of the week. I have a huge fenced in yard and live near a huge park with a pond. I have two older dogs and two cats. They are all super friendly towards people and other animals. I constantly take my dogs outside to play at the park and they have a set feeding routine and get constant outdoor time.

“Dorian was great with our pups, and I can tell the dogs had a nice time. We were In a pinch to find a sitter since both of our boarding facilities were full for the weekend and Dorian made the process of booking very easy. We weren’t aware there would be other dogs in the house at the same time but our dogs are friendly and had no issues. Would be good to give a heads up in case other pet owners were to have a problem with that. We would use him again!”

I previously worked at a veterinary hospital, where I cared for pets in a kennel setting and assisted with appointments, giving me experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and also currently furthering my vet med education.
