“I recently returned from my 2nd multi-day hiking trip! Since I didn’t want to burden my sweet neighbor with kitty duties, I decided to take a chance on this thing called Rover.com. About: I love all animals! At home, I currently have a feisty tabby cat, and the sweetest Akita around❤️ Both require lots of love, time, and attention, but life wouldn’t be the same without them. Prior to starting on this app, I have gained experience, in the past, when I was employed as a dog sitter at a local daycare in Wisconsin Dells. I also have done yearly sitting jobs up to a week for various neighbors around town for foster dogs of all ages, and breeds, and cats! I currently have a part-time job. I consistently work on the weekends from 8:00am to 2pm on Saturdays, and Sundays. Occasionally I pick up extra shifts during the weekdays, but shifts are consistent to 5 hour increments. If I have any extra shifts scheduled, I will be sure to inform you prior to my stay. I am more than willing to come in between those times. I do not currently open my own home as I have a large Akita that requires to be the spotlight. But when stating client homes, I am open to the majority of situations. I ask that if your pet requires special instructions, or precautions, list them clearly, and I will work around them!
“Matthew watches our German Shepard fora Week. Cooper loved him. When Cooper will sleep with you and let you give belly rubs you know he loves you. While we were gone I got a notice the lawn service was coming the next day for the final application of the year. I texted Matt and asked him if he could clean up the poop in the back yard. He not only cleaned it up he also raked the leaves. Amazing!! Before we left he spent an entire day with Cooper so they could get to know each other and see if he had any questions. He’s amazing and we will be using him next time we travel.”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies to senior dogs since I was a little girl. My dad owned a doggy daycare and it was a great experience learning how to care for animals. I currently work full time and I go to school. Pet care will fit into my schedule because I do work night shift. I will have plenty of time to properly care for your pets. “I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.”
About: I have taken care of dogs since I have been 8 years old. I have had dogs all of my life and am experienced with puppies and elderly dogs as well. I would love to play, walk, or even just provide companionship for your dog. I work full time but I am currently available part time Tuesday through Thursday to care for your pet. PMs are better for me but I can be flexible as well. My dogs are crate trained but only while I am away from home. They walk well on leashesand also have a nice fenced in area to play in my yard. I am comfortable caring for your pet to your preference and your pet's preference.
