She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. About: Choosing who to leave your dog with is an important decision. We have a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in our home. We’re both retired and with no kids or pets, your dog will get 100% of our attention. We only host one family's dog at a time but we welcome multiple dogs if they come from the same household. We live on 37 wooded acres in the country, so there’s plenty of room for your dog to explore. We have trails where we can walk your dog on a leash and a fully fenced 1-acre yard for safe, supervised play or a snooze in the yard. Whether your dog is active or more laid back, they’ll have what they need in our home. Your dog will be included in whatever we’re doing inside, outside or around the property. They will have full access both inside and outside our home and be treated like part of our family. Throughout the day and evening they get a mix of supervised indoor and outdoor time, leashed walks on our wooded trails and play sessions with toys, balls and frisbees in the yard. We also make sure they have plenty of quiet time to rest and relax. About: I’ve taken care of puppies to senior dogs since I was a little girl. My dad owned a doggy daycare and it was a great experience learning how to care for animals. I currently work full time and I go to school. Pet care will fit into my schedule because I do work night shift. I will have plenty of time to properly care for your pets. I also have done yearly sitting jobs up to a week for various neighbors around town for foster dogs of all ages, and breeds, and cats! I currently have a part-time job. About: I've taken care of dogs and all sorts of pets while growing up on a farm. I've also been both an overnight house sitter and dog groomer for a professional dog breeder. I do not currently have dogs with me since I’m a student but I have plenty of long breaks throughout the day as well as non-eventful nights which gives me plenty of time for pet care. I'm currently working part time night-shift, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I make my own schedule during the day, so I can easily work around your pet's needs. I have a dog and cat myself at my apartment that are well socialized to be around other dogs. I can accommodate up to two dogs in my apartment if needed and can also go to your home if preferred. For cats, I find it best to go to them. I do not have a yard, but my apartment complex is pet friendly with a play area and lots of walking trails nearby.

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
