About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong attention to detail, genuine love for animals, and experience with pets of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience training puppies with basic commands and crate training, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets who may need medication, extra patience, or mobility support. I’m also highly reliable and communicative I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so they feel connected and reassured while they're away. My calm, friendly approach helps pets feel safe and at ease, whether it’s their first time with a sitter or they need special care. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and that personal connection makes all the difference. Pet care fits into my daily routine as a consistent and rewarding responsibility. Every morning starts with feeding my dog and taking him for a quick walk to get some energy out before the day begins. In the evenings, I usually spend about 30 minutes either going on a longer walk or playing fetch at the park. On weekends, I make time for grooming like brushing his fur or giving him a bath if needed and sometimes schedule vet checkups or pick up new toys or treats. It’s a routine that keeps me grounded, and it’s always nice to end the day with a loyal companion by my side. When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment. For dogs, I ensure they have regular feeding times, fresh water, daily walks, and playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also follow any specific instructions the client provides, such as administering medications or adhering to training routines. If I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s regular schedule to reduce stress from their owner's absence. I clean up after the pet, monitor behavior for signs of illness or anxiety, and send updates (with photos) to the owner for peace of mind. Whether it’s overnight care, walking, or short visits, my goal is to make each pet feel safe and loved while their owner is away.

About: Hi! I'm Kayleigh, and animals have always been one of the biggest joys in my life. I've loved caring for pets for as long as I can remember, and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with a member of your family. I’ve never not had a dog or cat in my home! I believe every pet is unique and deserves care that matches their personality and needs, i’m happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that senior pets may need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable care and accommodate a variety of visit times throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, a drop-in visit while you're away, or extra attention and companionship, I'm happy to help. As a pet sitter, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll provide plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're in good hands! In my free time, I enjoy reading, photography, plants, and of course meeting new furry friends. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your pet! I work from home, and have flexible hours. I can make most schedules work! I have a lot of free time to spend with your fur babies. I always make sure the animal is well fed and watered first, and usually clean up any toys or accidents while they eat. After that, it’s play time!

So delighted to meet Jeri and experience her incredible care for our cats during our recent trip. Jeri was so easy to work with and we knew instantly she would not only become our “go to” for future drop in visits. We had no worries upon departure knowing Jeri was in charge. One of our cats normally hides but with Jeri, there was no hesitation. We HIGHLY recommend Jeri! Five stars for sure!!! Thanks Jeri!!

About: I have taken care of dogs most of life, six dogs in total. Most recently I had a German Shepherd, Australian Cattle dog mix name Waylan. I started with Rover over 4 years ago and have sat for over 50 clients and 82 pets. To name a few I have taken care of Pit Terriers, Bull Terriers, Australian Cattle Dogs, Great Dane, Bearded Collies, Bearded Dragon, Mice, Hedgehog, and many cats. All from different families and all in-home stays. I consider myself an observant and knowledgeable animal lover. When it comes to special skills, I have experience training and administering medicine. My work schedule is M-F, 8:30 to 5pm in-office. Outside of those hours, I spend with your pets. About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter/house sitter (3+ yrs) who is passionate about making pets feel safe and comfortable when I’m watching them! 🤗🐶 I am also an active person, so long walks (5+ miles), farm animal needs, or pet medical needs are totally okay with me. I take pride in being able to make my furry friends feel special and enriched during my time with them, so I frequently have clients tell me that their fur babies miss me when I leave! I am also a neat person who is up for completing any household tasks/chores while I’m watching your space. Outside of pet sitting, I have a full time job at a mental health clinic, which means I am in the office: Mon-Thur, 10am-7pm (~8hrs) Fri, 8am-12pm (~4hrs) Federal Holidays I am off of work. I have a flexible schedule which would allow me to come home for a quick potty break in the middle of the day if absolutely necessary! I am a very responsible, clean, and honest person who prioritizes communication and safety when I am watching your fur babies or your home. I understand the trust that my clients give me to watch over their homes and pets is very very sacred, and I am honored to give my clients the best possible experience. I frequently send updates (i.e. pictures/videos of my activities with the pets, weather reports if there are storms, etc.). I am also available by phone 24/7 for clients to reach out. I am flexible and open to completing household tasks (i.e. watering plants, cleaning, etc.) if need be.

About: I love dogs and cats. I have had them my whole life! My labrador just passed away so I am looking for some pet interaction! I miss her dearly. I have taken care of both dogs and cats with special needs, behavioral issues, and senior pets. I love taking both on walks, car rides, park trips, etc. whatever they like to do! Currently working a hybrid job so I can work from home if needed. I’m more of a home body so I will have plenty of chill time with your fur babies. I also like going on outdoor adventures like walks and dog parks weather permitting. At home I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. There is one friendly dog and one solitary but other pet friendly senior cat. Both can be secluded to the upstairs if needed.

About: I've been caring for my own household pets since I was about 7 years old -- feeding, letting pets in and out, and providing quality time for as long as I can remember. We've always owned 2 dogs and 2 cats my whole life. Experienced in giving medicine, diaper care and helping with individual pet needs. Always the go-to petsitter for family and friends when needed. Currently off of college for the summer so I'm wide open for all of your pet needs! Available daily at any time until mid August, and then free on the weekends when the semester starts. My dogs at home are crate-trained, but I work with open house dogs as well as crates, letting them outside every few hours or so (as needed). Happily gives couch cuddles for pets as much as possible, and I follow food instructions per pet to a T, including medicine and special care instructions as needed.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Leshara

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 476 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Leshara. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leshara. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
