About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about since childhood. I’ve always had pets of my own and have rescued many animals over the years. To me, pets are family, not just animals. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.

About: I’ve been on Rover for 5 years now! I have lots of experience with animals and my education background is in biology and animal sciences I am available pretty much whenever to do drop ins or walks for your pets!! Let me know what you need and I can accommodate :) I always make sure to follow the owners instructions and communicate with them! Communication is important when taking care of someone else’s animals! I make sure to send lots of pictures as well

Dog walking fits perfectly into my current routine. I’m a part-time healthcare worker with a consistent schedule, working from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Outside of those hours, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability and plenty of time to dedicate to your pup. I truly enjoy incorporating walks into my day—they keep me active, bring me joy, and let me connect with more wonderful dogs. Your dog will receive dependable, loving care from someone who’s already made this a part of daily life. Safety, trust, and a positive environment are at the heart of every walk I take. I prioritize clean, open, and dog-friendly spaces—like the Rail-Trail, local parks, and secure walking paths—where pups can enjoy fresh air and nature safely. I always use leash control, stay highly observant of their behavior, and make sure every walk is calm, comfortable, and secure. Whether we’re exploring a quiet trail or playing at a safe dog park, your dog’s well-being is my top priority. You can trust that your pup is in caring, capable, and experienced hands every step of the way.

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

About: I'm very happy to be around pets. Have experience taking care of pets as I have had pets growing up I have been called to dog wisper because I have that connection with dogs. About: I have been the go to dog sitter for family, friends and coworkers for the last 15 years. I was finally able to adopt my very own pup a little over a year ago and have been obsessed with him ever since. We have a small fenced in backyard and live extremely close to the bike path and park! Lots of walks and exploring. I am looking to make pet care my full time career. I am aiming to be available daily for all types of care. Walking, daycare as well as overnight sleepovers! I have a small fenced in back yard and a cozy ranch style home. No stairs, for those pups who have a hard time getting around. I take daily morning walks with my guy around the park and have many other spots we visit on the weekends. Couches, beds, chairs, none of those are off limits. Your pet can be comfortable! If you want your pup to be spoiled, loved, and entertained while you are busy, look no further!

Amanda was prompt in getting back to us anytime we reached out and sent us occasional photos of the dogs playing or resting. She has a lovely home and large fenced-in backyard where the dogs could run free and get plenty of exercise. We felt at ease knowing our precious pups were kept safe and warm while we were away!”

About: I have pet/house sat multiple times over the past several years for friends and family, and have worked with several types of animals from small critters like guinea pigs and ferrets, cats, and even large dog breeds. I also have 2 years experience volunteering for a local shelter in socialization and vet transport, 3 years experience working for a doggy daycare and boarding facility, and I currently work part time for another local animal shelter. I am an experienced owner of dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, guinea pigs, and more. I also have experience as a wedding dog handler, and would be happy to offer this service if requested so your furry companion can accompany you or someone you know on yours or their special day without any added stress, please let me know if this is something you'd be interested in! I currently work part time so I have lots of time to play with your pup, and hopefully can build savings towards a larger space to meet more people's needs! I am always looking to learn, grow, and provide better care for animals. Animal welfare is very important to me. At this point in time, due to the space I'm only able to accommodate smaller breeds that generally can get along with others. I do have a small fenced in yard, but I also have the bike trail and nearby hiking trails readily available, your dog will need to be on leash at all times when outside on walks/hikes, I do not provide "off-leash" trail experience as a safety precaution, thank you for your understanding! I am happy to provide pictures and updates of your pup whenever requested, please never be afraid to reach out!

I’m a stay-at-home dad to my two boys, Zenith and KoaSol, and we share our home with our dog, Magnolia — Maggie for short. We live on 10 private acres with open lawn, fields, gardens, and trails, far away from roads and traffic. We spend much of our time outdoors gardening, landscaping, cutting trails, playing, and caring for the property, so visiting dogs have plenty of fresh air, space, and attention. My boys are 11 and 5 and love dogs. They are excited to welcome new dog friends, while I remain solely responsible for all care, supervision, routines, and safety. Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. While my kids are always game to play, I will be solely responsible for the care of your loved one!
