About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have also grown up raising birds, cats, and rabbits. I had my first pet-sitting business when I was just 11 years old. I am a current dog and cat mom. I aspire to be a dog trainer and have my own business one day. I have successfully trained my own dog in a variety of different skills and I am eager to gain even more knowledge to work towards my career. I have 3+ years experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and all temperaments. I also have experience working with dogs with special needs. I just moved to the area and I am currently looking for a full-time position in the animal care field. In the meantime, I am looking to find work through Rover to stay caught up on finances. I do plan to continue using Rover for side-work after finding a full-time job. I also believe it could help me gain experience towards my career goals. My schedule is very open at the moment. I take my dog on walks every evening and have training sessions for an hour every day. Since I live with other people currently, I can only pet-sit in clients’ homes. About: My whole life I’ve had animals cats dogs farm animals I love them all. I’ve handled big dogs and small dogs and have sitted for friends when they leave for vacation. I currently work full time but still have time on weekends and Wednesday evenings to take care of any pet of all sizes. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old, my family used to rescue as well as bred show Pomeranians. I myself have shown dogs in 4-H as well! I have had many dogs in my life and know how much work they are, I also have had special need dogs and understand how to distribute medications correctly! However my class schedule is flexible enough that I will be sure that your pet is well taken care of! I have most evenings absolutely free as well as weekends meaning I can be with your pet full time during that time! My own dog gets about two walks a day! He receives medication as well as special stimulation treats during the day, along with a weekly spa day, he is one pampered pooch!! My cat gets catnip treats every Sunday with his wet food, which he receives every morning and he gets his dry food at night. During the day he gets to watch birds on the tv while I am at class!

About: I’ve had animals ever since I was born, ranging from cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, birds, turtles.. And since I was young I helped care for them! Once I hit my pre-teen years I began volunteering at animal shelters, helping with animals of all kinds! I once even held a fundraiser in middle school for a local shelter who needed help gathering supplies for their pets. I have experience with animals who need medications or have special needs! I personally have a small elderly chihuahua, a calm fluffy cat, a young playful kitten. I’m currently a college student focusing on my education, so I have plenty of time to assist you with all your pet care needs! About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I have good experience with giving oral medications and giving support to dogs with anxiety or anxiousness. Great with walking dogs with all different sizes and energy levels. I also have great knowledge when it comes to cleaning care for puppies or seniors rather that be in cages or any where within the house. I support rescue services for pets as I have adopted a dog from Tails myself. Lastly I am great at managing multiple dogs at once as I currently have three dogs with my family. I am currently take a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) class as I am looking to become a nurse in my future. I starting college this year so I’m looking to find a job during this summer. With having CNA class I am available most weekdays and for sure weekends. I have class Tuesdays and Wednesdays being available after 12:30 and have Friday Clinicals at a Nursing home in DeKalb leaving that day majority full. While in my own home or a clients home I always make sure the pet feels like their in a comfortable and safe environment with surroundings and with me. A pets health mentally and physically is really important to me as I make sure they get the right exercise, rest, attention and love they of course deserve. Keeping them with their daily routines and schedule is also very necessary to me when it comes to feedings and water, play inside and outside, rest and walks which are my favorite. Keeping my clients home clean and protected is also something very important to me as it helps the dog be familiar in their safe and comfortable space and also help the owner gain trust and rely on me as much as possible! Updates are a really big thing I offer service to, I am a really great communicator and responsible person so letting them know how their pet is doing and being cared for is very critical.

About: I have been taking care of my Australian shepherd since I was twelve years old. I've been grooming her, walking her, training her, and feeding her since I was a child. Throughout my life I have gotten two more dogs and many more animals that I have loved taking care of. My college classes have all been online so I have had plenty of time to be at home and spend time with my three dogs. At my home I have three dogs. Two that usually keep to themselves but one Husky that loves to play. I have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around, as well as cages to crate dogs if needed.

About: I have loved animals since I could remember. I have house sat for co-workers, fostered for shelters, done many trips of volunteer animal transports, and many years of TNR. My absolute dream is to own the countries largest domestic animal rescue/ranch and have law’s passed to protect more stray/feral cats. People say it will never happen but, I don’t listen to them!! I am a nurse who has cut my hours as well as my expenses to have a more flexible schedule. I begins a patient myself almost losing my life and realized I want to do what makes med me happy. Like so many others with near death experiences!! I LOVE being a nurse but after 30 years and kids being grown - I want to do what I absolutely love now. Since I live in an apartment I can not do boarding yet, but I can follow directions and am VERY respectful of other people’s private homes/spaces. I know it is very stressful for our pets to be left home alone for extended time so I would give them as much love and attention as I am requested to (I understand not all animals appreciated being loved on!!) Your family can have peace of mind while on vacation, away for work, or tending to family crises elsewhere. One of the biggest compliments I ever received as a hospice nurse being on call was, that the other nurses never worried about their patients when they know I was on call that night/weekend. They knew I would take care of them and their families, so they could enjoy their time off!!! And I will do the same for pets because they are family too!!

About: I grew up exposed to all kinds of animals. Ranging from cats and dogs to a parrot and an iguana. My family taught me that love for and from animals is unconditional. I've taken care of goats, I've had pet rats, built bigger tanks for turtles, created a pond for fish. I have lots of experience with animals and it's all over the spectrum. I feel confident I can satisfy your animal care needs! I work full time, but I personally have one cat and my roommate has two cats so it is a fun and fur filled home. Since both of my parents worked, I was often responsible for feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she was well cared for. That experience taught me responsibility from a young age and helped me develop a genuine love for animals. Since then, I've cared for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I currently my own Boss with my own schedule with some time and some flexibility to help out with other families that might need help Walkable access to parks and trails for opportunities for outdoor play and fun time. I've always been big on both supervised engaging play time 🤓

About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.
