“Mellony was a perfect cat sitter for our cats while we were away for a week. She took great care of our two cats by feeding them, cleaning up after them, and making sure everything was in order. We originally book one 30-minute visit per day, but Mellony generously offered to come twice a day for 15 minutes each visit so that both cats would get extra attention-without changing any additional fee. We truly appreciate her kindness and dedication. It gave us peace of mind knowing our cats were in such caring and reliable hands. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have experience raising both cats and dogs. Our family cat was rescued from the streets as a kitten, and I raised our dog from puppyhood, including training with him at Heavenly Hounds. Since 2025, I’ve also volunteered at SAVE Animal Shelter, where I walk and play with dogs and spend time caring for cats by playing with them, reading to them, and cleaning their cages. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality and way of communicating. It’s a great environment for dogs to get both physical exercise and mental stimulation while staying safe and supervised. When caring for your pet in your home, I’ll follow your rules, routines, and preferences. I’ll make sure to ask thorough questions ahead of time so I understand your pet’s needs, your home, and anything important I should know. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable while giving you peace of mind that they and your home are in good hands.

About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of dogs and some cats throughout my life so far. I’ve developed a high tolerance for specifically high energy dogs after adopting my current 6 year old goldendoodle, so I can pretty much handle anything (dogs who tend to bite, jump a lot, jolty on a leash, etc.). I live in Hamilton NJ, so I’d love to take your pet on frequent trips to the Mercer County Park where there are minimal people and distractions - just the beautiful nature! Experienced with using treats to ensure good heels, walks over +1 hours, and managing your dog when other dogs are walking nearby to ensure no unnecessary reactivity. I work a Monday-Thursday schedule, typically a bit busy throughout the day. However, due to the remote nature of my work, I am able to walk your dog at any time assuming I’m not in an active meeting at work. Anything that is scheduled a day ahead at least I can work into my work schedule with no issues whatsoever. I am all for balance; I ensure my dogs are fed throughout the day to ensure consistent energy throughout and not too much at night. I understand boredom can also increase cortisol and nerves within dogs so I ensure consistent attention and stimulation throughout the day - toys, snacks in toys that they have to work their way through, walks, etc.

About: Since I was born, I have been surrounded by animals and have discovered my strong love for all types of them. I have had dogs and cats all of my life, and have had my own horse since I was 12. I have utilized the knowledge of veterinary care that I have learned while caring for my own horse with all animals. Caring for and spending time with animals is a passion of mine, and I would love to be able to share that with yours! I am also a Registered Nurse at RWJBarnabas. I work M-F 7:30AM-4PM. Weekends are free, however during the week if your pet needs to be let out during the day I will not be available unless it is before/after work. I’m happy to take your animals for walks outside of their yard, stay with them for the night, etc. I’m flexible and would love to do whatever fits best for your pet!
