About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, including two Labrador Retrievers named Maverick and Goose, and a Beagle that I cared for over 10 years, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, exercise, and understanding different personalities. I’ve also done several overnight house-sitting and dog care jobs, working with a wide range of breeds, from small dogs like pugs to larger, high-energy dogs like huskies. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and caring for them. The first animal I really fell in love with was a manatee when I was about 5 years old living in Florida, and that kind of stuck with me. My time as a kid was spent at the beach boogie boarding out into the ocean hoping a dolphin would find me and become my friend. Growing up, I loved going to the aquarium and the zoo to learn about different animals, and I’ve always been especially drawn to red pandas and stingrays. That curiosity and appreciation carries over into how I care for pets—I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe and happy. In addition, I have a lot of hands-on caregiving experience through taking care of my brother who has special needs, as well as working with special needs youth. That’s taught me to be patient, attentive, and very in tune with individual needs, which I bring into how I care for animals as well. Pet care honestly fits into my routine really naturally because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I have a part-time job in the mornings and some evenings, so I have a lot of flexibility during the day to spend quality time with dogs—whether that’s going on long walks, stopping by for visits, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I grew up with dogs and took care of my Beagle for 10 years, so I’m very used to building my day around their needs. It doesn’t feel like a task to me—it’s something I love doing. My dog is extremely active so I dont have any problem keeping up with pets of any activity level. I've been to training with my dog and am able to use the skills I've learned with my dog to any pet. “Our pup Puzzles had a great time with Savi! It was her first time being boarded anywhere overnight, so I was a little nervous, but Savi was so kind, very communicative and sure to provide updates during Puzzles’s stay, which was only two nights! I could tell my puppy liked her, and she loves people who love dogs. Pickup and drop off were flexible enough for my needs, and Savi was very helpful when I struggled getting the crate in and out of my car ? I’d definitely recommend her services, and will see if she’s available next time I’m out of town!”

“Chastidy made this a flawless transition from start to finish. Her profile hooked me and after talking made me feel more at ease about leaving my 10 month old puppy with her for an extended stay. When I dropped Melo off, she had the kiddie pool out and my pup got roam around her yard that is fenced in and she slowly introduced the other dogs on site. She confident in what she was doing and when I got to see my wild border collie get to play freely in a yard with other dogs, it was fantastic. She sent me photos and messages to let me know how things were going throughout my trip. Pick up was just as nice, gave him a bath because he had some tummy troubles after his new friend left. He loved his doggie vacation and I’m grateful to have had someone who enjoys dogs take care of him while I was away. I plan on reaching out again if I need someone to watch Melo because it was an awesome experience from myself and my pup!”
