“Michelle is an excellent pet sitter. She sent lots of pictures and a few videos, which kept me at ease knowing my fur baby was well taken care of while I was away. 100% recommend Michelle and will book her services in the future.”

“Jose did an amazing job with Marley! I was able to leave an entire week without having to worry once. Was always on time and walked my dog to the park every time. Marley loved Jose, so much so Marley was playing fetch with sticks which I’ve never seen him do! Jose also took amazing pictures at every check in”

“Katrina is a mature, responsible person who quickly earned our trust. Leaving our fur babies in the care of someone else is no small decision. We feel totally confident in her sensitivity to our older dog and our new rescue dog who is still adjusting. Highly recommend!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! While I was admitted to the hospital for six days, I knew my cat, Logan, needed more than just someone to stop by and fill his bowl—he needed companionship, playtime, and someone to ensure his environment was safe and comfortable. Glenmary went above and beyond, not only taking incredible care of Logan but also easing my own worries. Her updates, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. I’ve already booked her again, and she will be my number one sitter moving forward. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable pet sitter!”

“Natasha did a great job with our kitties! This was our first time using the Rover app and we were a little nervous about it, but Natasha sent us updates that put us at the ease (including letting us know when we had packages delivered) and we came home to happy kitties. We will definitely reach out to her the next time we need a sitter.”

About: I've been involved in dog rescue for over 20 years and often board former foster pups. I give a lot of attention and soft play to minimize the stress of their owners being away. I recently completed a 220 hour veterinary assistant certification. I have a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday which allows me to leave midday for walks, feedings, etc. Weekends are typically wide open. I am available for sunrise and sunset walks at the local golf course or in your neighborhood. I am off for the summers and all school holidays. Pets in my home enjoy lots of exercise and soft play--fetch, tug of war, etc. Dogs that prefer to stay home will have a minimum of 3 visits per day for feeding, exercise and play. For golf course walks, I offer free pickup within two miles of the route from my house to the course.

“Daniel took excellent care of my cat! She is shy and will almost always hide when sitters visit, but when I'm back I can tell from her mood and behavior that she felt safe and comfortable. Thanks Daniel!!”

About: I've had dogs in my family for over 30 years and cats for over 10 years! Animals should be treated with kindness and love because that's what they give us. I understand the time and attention that new pets require as well as the gentle and caring touch that all pets deserve. I've always been my friend's dog sitter and own two cats of my own. I'm a teacher so I will be free for most of the summer during the week. I enjoy the outdoors so would love to take your dog for a walk and also care for your cat or dog indoors. I've never had a fish but would happily check in on those water babies as well! At this time, I am not able to board your cat or dog in my apartment as I have two cats of my own. Thanks.

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life and have always had both cats and dogs. I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. I have helped train my dogs and make it a point to walk them every day. I also bath my dogs once a week, so I have plenty experience with that! I believe that cats and dogs are more like family members than just pets. Providing the best care and love for them during walks and drop-ins is my main priority! I'm a college student at the University at Albany seeking to earn money through my passion for pet care. I am available to care for your pet whenever I am not in class! Your pet's happiness and safety are my top priorities. I have experience walking dogs that cannot be near other people or pets, and I understand the importance of getting to know your pet before the walk. I am committed to following all instructions provided by the owner. For me, clear communication is essential, as it helps me understand exactly what you and your pets need.

About: I grew up with three dogs and have a two year old golden retriever of my own now, so I have plentiful experience of taking care and loving dogs. I work from home and get to set my own hours so I have a very flexible schedule so I can be available whenever you need me. I have a dog proofed house and a fenced in yard that is great and safe for dogs to play in. I am carful and safe walking dogs as i have had to walk three dogs together growing up with all three in the house.

About: I have many years of dog care experience with dogs of all ages. I have been a dog sitter and walker for neighbors, friends, and family dogs treating them with love and the level of care as if they were my own. I have also fostered puppies (an amazing experience)! I believe every dog deserves someone to love and take care of them, and that is my mission for your furry friend! I am currently a sophomore at Siena College studying biology while playing Division 1 soccer. Currently during the fall semester: - MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS: Available from 8:00am-3pm, and after 6:00pm. - TUESDAYS: Available after 6:00 pm. - WEDNESDAY: Available from 1:30pm-3pm and after 6:00 pm. - THURSDAYS: Unavailable all day. - SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS: Available all day. IMPORTANT: I am a student-athlete, so my schedule may change. However, I am quick with my responses and willing to work with you to create the best pet care experience. The safety of your dog is my top priority. I have no problem using crates or gates, or following specific rules given to be by the dogs owner.

About: Need a little extra interaction for your fur baby? I'm happy to help out. I have been dog walking and house sitting for friends and family over the last 10 year. I'm great for a morning or midday walk or even just an extra potty break til you can get home. I have had 15 pets in my life and all live to a ripe old age in a loving home. I dont currently have pets due to lease restrictions. But Im happy to spend my free time with your fur baby. I'm available all day Sunday and Monday, Tuesday-Friday 7am-3pm. Saturday can be negotiable. If you are wanting over night care I am available starting at 11pm. I'm the type of person to double check locks behind me. Im happy to even help with some medication, depensing on the need. The only real restriction for me is no fur babies that have to be muzzled.

About: As a loving dog owner myself, I sympathize with the need for customized care while you're away. I am here to help keep your pet’s usual routine, exercise and enrichment activities while you're away. As a responsible professional, I take my commitments seriously. This includes following your directions and caring for your pet the way you prefer. I am a stickler for details and safety. Personally, it’s difficult for me to trust people with my own dog, so I know how important it is to follow an owner’s directions and make sure your pet has the environment and enrichment that they need. Caring for dogs has been a lifelong hobby for me. I grew up with dogs as pets and have watched my friends’ and family’s pets throughout my life. I truly enjoy my time with dogs, which I think helps them be at ease while you’re away. There are very few other things I'd rather do than take a dog for a walk! Pooches keep us humble and remind us to live in the moment. My full-time job is in secondary research, and my favorite "off hours" topic is dogs. Learning about their behavior, needs and evolution is endlessly fascinating to me. While I'm a relative layman (much respect to trainers & vets!), I'm well versed in canine safety and understanding their behaviors and context. I was motivated to work through Rover because my own dog doesn't do well with boarding, and we have found our amazing sitters here (my dog is home with his Dad while I’m sitting for you). So, when I saw the need in our community for more pet care options that take on only one pet (or family) at a time, I realized it would be a natural and rewarding use of my time. Generally, I work 10 - 6 from home / remotely. I can also do midday visits, before and after are also free for playtime and pup care. I keep a safe environment for your dog. Currently, I only offer overnight services in the client / dog's home and do not bring dogs that I don't know into my own home.

“Gabby is a warm, kind, thoughtful person. My two kitties liked her right away, and I could tell that she liked them. I felt comfortable and at ease leaving Spunky and Rachel in Gabby’s care. She was very communicative, accommodating, and conscientious throughout the entire pet sitting process. Everything went smoothly, and I did not have any concerns. I am thankful to have found Gabby, and I will be relying on her for future pet sitting.”

“Shyma was an AMAZING kitty caretaker! He came over to meet my shy kitties in advance, and to learn how to administer my kitty’s inhaler medication, and was a natural. I loved and appreciated the attentiveness of Shyma, from the picture updates and reports, to Shyma’s excellent understanding of how to work with extremely shy cats. Shyma was patient yet determined with my shy crew- and my kitties eventually made friends! I would definitely hire Shyma to cat-sit again. Shyma is extremely personable and an obvious animal-lover. Thank you for everything!”

“My two dogs, Loki and Chloe fell in love with James the moment they met him. Loki just had knee surgery and James made sure he didn’t get to rambunctious and re-injure the knee. James was very friendly and professional. He sent photos to let us know all was well. I will definitely call James when I need a pet sitter.”

She has helped me countless times, most on very short notice, and loves my dogs like her own. “Molly was fantastic on time quick to respond and most of all our pup Pumpkin LOVES her. We definately will be using her again when we can't take our furry baby with us. her again”

“Madalyn lived me in 2007. Besides purchasing my dog she shared in all responsibilities of my cocker spaniel. She loved and cared for my dog like it was her own. The dog doesn't see her to much these days and still gets excited when he sees her. I would trust her care for my pet, my child, or anyone. KP”
