About: Hi, I'm Mel! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. About: Dogs have been a part of my world ever since I was 4 years old. I had three dogs growing up, Buddy, Archie, and Walker. They were the absolute BEST! My uncle used to be a private breeder (mostly just because he loved having a lot of dogs around) and I would go over weekly to help care for them. I've worked with all kinds of dog, big and small, from puppies to the oldest little guys you've ever seen and I love it! I am currently extremely available as my few jobs are also scheduled sporadically and with different lengths of notice so finding time within my weekly schedule is quite easy. I can accomplish just about anything to meet the needs of your beautiful dog/cat. Feeding, brushing, crating, walking, playing, administering medication, you name it! If you tell me, I can do it :)

About: I’ve helped taken care of several families dogs including my families dogs whether it’s just stopping by for a couple of hours or staying several days taking care of them. I am currently in college and I have flexible availability, I have two dogs at home that I take for walks and play with everyday! I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. I keep homes clean, respect house rules, and provide updates along the way.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life family and friends pets and enjoy playing and taking care of them when needed love dogs of all sizes I’m currently working full time but love animals and helping with them where I can. Going on walks or just throwing a ball around I can do it all. Whether your fur baby likes to lounge around or be active I enjoy both and with 3 children at home keeping track and cleaning up after them is a regular past time of mine.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, I know nothing other than dogs. Raised both boys and girls. Currently, raising a 105 lb., 3 year old red gold retriever Mowgli and loving it. He plays well with others! Until further notice, I’m open at all hours of the day. I usually start my day around 5 am to about 9 pm per my puppy’s routine. However, open to any at the time being. I am taking a short leave from my full time position. My home is a family home we’ve grown up in the last seven years or so- plush grass, friendly dog neighbors, friendly neighbors, a lot of exercise in walking (I’ve gone as far as a half marathon once, not saying that’s the plan though unless you’re looking to train for a half marathon of course… lol)

I’m experienced with administering medications, following specific care instructions, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. Whether your pet needs a reliable walk, drop-in visit, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them like my own—safe, loved, and well cared for. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m currently off for the summer (I work as a school nurse during the year), so I have very open availability for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. During the school year, I still offer consistent morning, evening, and weekend availability, making me a great fit for ongoing or repeat care needs. Your pet will be treated like part of the family in my home! I have a full, happy pack of my own—3 cats and 2 dogs—who all get along wonderfully and love to play. Because of that, I’m very experienced in managing a multi-pet household and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and included. My home is stocked with plenty of toys, cozy spots for relaxing, and all the pet supplies needed to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter space to unwind. You can expect lots of supervised playtime, affection, and a clean, pet-friendly environment. I treat every animal as if they were my own and make sure they get the care, attention, and love they deserve while you’re away.

About: I have dog/cat sat in the past for neighbors when I was young. I have a high attention to detail and tend to your babies with whatever they need, medications, special routines, etc. I work full time as a 3rd shifter. I typically can take care of things in the mornings or in the afternoons/evenings before work. I work 11pm-7am Sundays through Thursday. I have two cats at home. I have a senior 10 year old and a young and energetic 3 year old. To keep is easy on them, I can do any animal care for you at your home.
