We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. I currently have a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd so I am very used to high energy/ high drive animals. I have watched pets ranging from less than five pounds up to 165 pounds. I work monday through Friday during the day with the ability to check in throughout the day or even bring to work with me if i need to I treat all animals as if they were mine. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . During your boarding, Larger dog's WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:30 - 2:00pm Monday-Thursday. Your pet will be crated during this time. I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for several years, including my own dogs and pets for other families. I’ve done everything from quick drop-in visits and walks to staying with pets for several days while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with different routines and can also give oral medication when needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and that their normal routine stays as consistent as possible. My work schedule varies from week to week, so my availability depends on the dates requested. I only accept bookings that work well with my schedule and your pet’s needs. Before booking, I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine, how long they are comfortable being left alone, and any specific care they need so we can make sure I’m a good fit. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I carefully follow instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and anything else your pet may need. I respect your home, keep things clean, and make your pet’s safety a priority. I also send pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and being well cared for.
About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life family and friends pets and enjoy playing and taking care of them when needed love dogs of all sizes I’m currently working full time but love animals and helping with them where I can. Going on walks or just throwing a ball around I can do it all. About: Over my 12 years of experience, I have pet sit all types of different animals for several neighbors, friends, and family members…including my aunt’s 9 cats. About: I have had several dogs since I was a child, but my favorites were our German Shepherd, Princess, and our Aussiedoodle, Winston. In high school, I had a part time job working at a doggy daycare and would often take care of my grandparents dogs whenever they were traveling. About: My name is Holly, I worked as a Pet groomer for 4years. There I learned all sorts of things. From nail clippings to anal gland expressions. After my arm gave out I went to a vet clinic where I was in charge of the kennels. I have experience working with all sort of dogs at all sorts of ages with all sorts of temperaments. Some needed special attention and some where happy with just hanging out. I must say the special needs animals are my favorite. I love giving that extra care to make sure every pet I encounter feels safe and comfy. At the vet clinic I also learned various first aid techniques. I love animals more than I love people. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet.
