About: Hi, I'm Mel! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. About: I’ve been volunteering and caring for cats and dogs since I was eleven years old. I am knowledgable in pet CPR and first aid. I’ve had pets of my own my entire life, including 3 dogs, 4 cats, as well as chickens. I’ve cared for large and small dogs as well as cats. I am experienced in administering medicine to both cats and dogs. I’ve cared for everything from young kittens to elderly dogs. I have multiple long-time returning clients currently. I’m currently a student and have a part time job, so I have mostly evening and weekend availability during the school year. In the summer I usually work in the afternoon into the evenings, so I’m available mornings, after 7-8 in the evening, and most afternoons. I am available to stay over if desired most weekends and weekdays in the summer. My mother also works as my backup when my schedule gets hairy or in emergencies so your pets will always have someone to ensure their wellbeing! I am comfortable letting dogs out in the yard or walking them on a leash depending on the pet and personal situation. I am not currently offering services in my own home.

About: I have grown up with all sorts of dogs of all sizes. I have taken part in both training and caring for our family dogs, and there has not been a dog that I do not immediately love. Being with dogs is always entertaining and extremely rewarding. I am not currently working, and I have a lot of free time during my summer before my junior year of college. I am available at any time of day, and my schedule is very flexible until I start working in June. I am responsible for walking, feeding, and caring for our three dogs when my parents are working. It’s very common for me to spend time with my dogs in my down time such as playing with and accompanying them.

About: I have dog/cat sat in the past for neighbors when I was young. I have a high attention to detail and tend to your babies with whatever they need, medications, special routines, etc. I work full time as a 3rd shifter. I typically can take care of things in the mornings or in the afternoons/evenings before work. I work 11pm-7am Sundays through Thursday. I have two cats at home. I have a senior 10 year old and a young and energetic 3 year old. To keep is easy on them, I can do any animal care for you at your home.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life family and friends pets and enjoy playing and taking care of them when needed love dogs of all sizes I’m currently working full time but love animals and helping with them where I can. Going on walks or just throwing a ball around I can do it all. Whether your fur baby likes to lounge around or be active I enjoy both and with 3 children at home keeping track and cleaning up after them is a regular past time of mine.
