“Ruth is always quick to respond to my messages and is very reliable. She makes sure to keep my updated on my girl’s status when she walks her and always sends me pictures. She’s flexible and understanding as well. I’m very happy and lucky to have found her since I moved to a new area.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all of my life. I have always been the go to sitter for friends and family. I am especially experienced with senior dogs and understand the patience, gentleness and extra care they need. I’ve also trained my own pets from a young age, so I’m comfortable working with both older and energetic puppies. Above all, my husband and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time, and my husband is an independent worker with a flexible schedule, so we tag team pet care throughout the day. Our routine allows us to provide check ins and potty breaks approximately every 2-4 hours. We make sure pets are never left alone for too long and always have the attention they need. We’re also available on weekends and happy to accommodate your pets usual routine as closely as possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. While I have an unfenced yard, I always use leash and supervise pets closely during outdoor time. I have a calm home environment with open space for pets to walk, play and relax. My senior chihuahua has their own separate room, which helps maintain a peaceful setting and allows me to keep visiting pets comfortable and safe.

“Rachelle was so responsive and made me feel so comfortable! It is my first time ever using Rover & I’m glad that she was available. Definitely will be using her services again! Highly recommend!”

“April is wonderful! All three of my fur babies took an immediate liking to her. My pup is a bit shy, but by day 2 was offering up her belly for rubs! She is our go to from here on out.”

About: I’m interested in this position because pets have a soft spot in my heart. I grew up with two dogs and four cats. We sometimes let in strays as well. I was the one responsible for feeding my pets and cleaning up the litter box. My own canine family started when I was 18. I have experience with dogs with diabetes, orthopedic reconstruction and chronic systemic arthritis. I am confident that I can care for and love on your pet while you’re away so you have few concerns about your loved one. I have a very flexible schedule. I am a stay at home mom of teenagers. I have the ability to care for your pet based on your schedule and needs. I offer care in the client’s home. I will follow the instructions the client tells me. My own dog has such a schedule and routine of when to go out vs eating so I completely understand the need for routine. I will always make sure safety comes first. If there isn’t a fence then I would prefer to have the pet on a leash. I would never want a pet getting loose and running off.

About: I've breed chihuahuas an I've also rescued newborn kittens an bottle fed them. Also any animal that I find or see I feed an try to care for them. Pet care is my life an I take care of my furbabies all day. I love to rescue or help any animal in need. ❤️ I treat them like my babies or furry children. I will feed an walk or entertain any animals purposes. Safe an loved at all times.

About: I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. Mine, friends etc. I have watched dogs, cats, lizards, bunnies. Please no snakes. No issue with multiple animals. I do ask that if the dogs are more than 25 lbs they walk easily without pulling on the leash. I have physical limitations and cannot safely handle strong pulling dogs for walks. This is my full time job. If I have availability I can help you. I am open for last minute bookings because I don’t have another job. I only care for dogs in the clients home. If a situation arose where I needed to care for a dog in my home I have a fully fenced large back yard and a crate for them to feel comfortable in.

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of all dogs from breeding to just having pets. I have lots of knowledge when it comes to medical issues with dogs due to my experience with breeding and owning older animals. I work remotely so your animal will have someone home with them all hours of the day! I can take dogs for walks and to the dog park. They will also be able to play with my animals. I will take care of your animals as if they are my own. I love taking care of them and going for walks. They will have plenty of play time and walks.

Sarah L.
“I’ve trusted Sarah to care for my cat, Ruthie, and my dog, Nico, on numerous occasions. Each time, they’ve both been happy and excited to see her—evident by the tail wagging and head bumps they immediately greet her with. She treats them like they’re her own and knows exactly how to approach them to make them feel safe and loved. And when my cat exceeds her petting limit, Sarah always respects her boundaries. Every time I leave them with her, I know they’ll be taken care of just the way I would. Sarah is punctual, organized, and on top of loving your fur babies, she’ll make sure all their needs are met. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone!”

Lake Watkins dog parents share their Rover experiences
Cameron was such a great choice for our fur baby. She was very communicative and always kept in touch and sent photos. she helped so much and was very sweet and our baby. We loved her would definitely recommend her and will definitely reach out again in the future. :)

Cassidy was very accommodating, flexible and kind with my fur babies. It was their first time left alone all day in a very long time and my first time using the app and Cassidy was patient with my new navigation of this process and tender hearted to my lonely doggie. Warmed my heart that she sat with my girl and encouraged her to eat her meal even though she was missing her momma. I even needed to add an extra walk when my day went unexpectedly late, and this was no issue.

She’s a phenomenal and very trustworthy dog walker. I just moved to the area and was nervous to find someone that could check on Letty multiple times a week, and sometimes last last minute. Ruth has been amazing and has been very trustworthy. She always sends me pics from their walk. Letty also loves her and is super excited to see her everyday!

Clearly my gaggle of animals love Sydney. :) I appreciate the pictures of my big boy on his walk and looking entirely too happy 🤣 Definitely will recommend Sydney to my neighbors and family and look forward to having her in our lives to help take care of the babies. ❤️ Thank you, Sydney!
