“Ruth was amazing with our little puppy Simba. He is nervous around new people but immediately took a liking to her at the meet and greet. It's obvious she cares about dogs. She was very understanding of what we were looking for and has done a great job with him. Look forward to having her back to spend more time with Simba soon!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them brings me genuine joy. As a lifelong lover of both cats and dogs, I understand that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. For over 25 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I've even travelled across the country to pet sit; that's how much I love it. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, giving lots of belly rubs, or simply providing a calm and comforting presence, I take pride in making pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their people are away. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routines, quirks, and favorite activities. Whether your dog loves adventure or your cat prefers quiet companionship, I’ll provide personalized care tailored to their needs. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving and capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and becoming someone you can trust time and time again. Now that I’m retired from my profession in law enforcement, I have the time and flexibility to do something I truly enjoy—caring for animals. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, and I love spending my days walking dogs, playing with pets, and giving cats and dogs the love and attention they deserve. My flexible schedule allows me to be available throughout the day, ensuring your pets receive plenty of care, companionship, and personalized attention while you’re away. The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care is my top priority. At this time, I’m unable to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to care for them in the comfort of their own home where they feel most secure and can maintain their normal routines. When staying in a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs or preferences. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and favorite activities to help reduce stress while their owners are away. As a retired law enforcement professional with 20 years of experience, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail to every pet-sitting experience. I treat both pets and homes with the utmost respect and care, and I provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing their furry family members are safe, happy, and loved.

I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with a dog and two cats and honestly, I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a furry friend by my side. I’ve always been surrounded by animals, from family pets to farm animals, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors. Now that I’m a college student, I really miss having animals around, so I’m excited to share my love and care with your pets! Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I’ll always make sure they’re safe, happy, and loved! I am currently in a social work graduate program, so I am in an internship during the weekdays 9am-4pm. I can usually work around those times, and I try to be as flexible as I can, so please reach out even if my calendar says I’m not available! I live in a pet-friendly apartment with two friendly cats (who can easily be separated if needed), a screened-in patio perfect for lounging, and access to a dog park and safe walking trail nearby. It’s a cozy, welcoming space where pets can feel relaxed and at home. I’m comfortable following any specific care routines or instructions you provide, and I’m also very intuitive when it comes to understanding an animal’s needs and emotions. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, quiet companionship, or just someone to make them feel secure while you’re away, I’m happy to provide that love and attention.

We currently do not have any pets so there's no problem if your babies don't like other animals but they do have to be okay with kids under 5, besides a train my place is pretty anxious dog friendly!
