“This was our first time using James’s for our fur babies and both Winston and Bella just fell into a routine and made themselves right at home! He did a great job entertaining both of our dogs at the same time and loving them equally. They have different foods, and he was able to take care of each of them as they needed to be taken care of. He absolutely did a great job letting us know how our babies were doing even within a couple hours of dropping them off, and letting us see that they were getting the love and attention they needed. About: When I was 12 a stray Tom adopted us. My mother and I would bandage him after his escapades. I have since then taken care of feral cats and helped get them spayed and neutered. I have also dropped in on the cats of my friends when they go out of town to give some human stimulation and make sure they have food and water.

She is prompt in response to any communication about their visits or changes in my work schedule, adjusts her schedule when possible to take them out earlier or later, and is easy to communicate with. She’s been overly helpful today especially when I forgot to put the lock box on my door on the way out and had a full schedule at work, she even stopped by to get the key where otherwise my puppies would have been stuck with no potty or exercise breaks for hours. These two are full of energy so I know they appreciated the extra play time they got together today also! We are very grateful for Ruth and her excellent dog walking services.”

Currently own 3 dogs, one is a 6 year old pit bull, the others are a 3 year old lab and a 6m old corgi. About: I started caring for pets of my own at 18. I have worked as a vet assistant/tech for over 6 years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and have worked with pets of all ages. My ex-husband and I raised two dogs from puppies and have adopted/fostered many senior pets. One of our dogs is a tripod, one is epileptic, and one is incontinent, so I have special needs experience. I also have experience caring for donkeys, horses, reptiles, chickens, birds, and fish. I pride myself in being kind and patient in nature. It is of the utmost importance that pets in my care feels safe and secure. I work full-time as a vet tech at a vet clinic in Lithia. I just moved to the area from Southern Indiana. I can do visits on my days off or before/after my shifts. My fur babies are more than just out pets; they are our kiddos. Your babies will be treated as such, too! Before I moved, I provided both drop in and boarding services. At this time, I can only do drop ins. I have subscription to Bark Box and a HUGE basket filled to the brim with toys. We keep plenty of blankets and beds around the home. We have a large sectional that we lounge on and a fully fenced in yard. We also have an exercise pen as well as the following sizes of crates on hand: two large, one extra large, and one small. Let us know what arrangements you have in your home so we can best emulate them. We also have baby gates set up to keep pets separate if necessary, and still allows for free roam in a portion of the house.

I have top secret security clearance and many missions under my belt. My passion now is animals. I am currently an SPCA foster parent to both dogs and cats. No job is too big or too small when caring for your pet. Whether they have medical needs or just need a happy face to lick, I can take care of it all. I am available day or night with total peace of mind everything will be cared for. I live in South Lakeland. I am retired and available for boarding, client home boarding and care, pet walks and visits. I'm available any day and time. I will answer all requests as soon as I see them. I live alone in a small and safe community, with little traffic, which makes it safe for walks. I have a unfenced yard but I take great care allowing the dog to have freedom in the yard while being on a leash. I have access to a fenced in dog "play" area in my community. My home is non-smoking, cozy, and quiet. I keep the home air cool to provide comfort for the animals. I maintain constant contact with your loved one to know they are safe and happy. I will provide daily texts and photos of the pet, to the owner, to show they are safe and happy.
About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies.
